Roxy Music still didn't make my votes but they jumped up from iirc 24th to 16th in my ranking after relistening, so would quite like to have seen it qualify after all but alas still not to be. (I will now remember how it goes because part of the vocals remind me of the melody from the ikonik Trifoski-core Christmas anthem 'Fire' by The Residents - Santa dog's a Jesus foetus )

Third time lucky qualifying for Rochelle Jordan as well, yay. And I enjoyed the Balu Brigada song so a good blind pick from Dandy x

Ooh great for both of those, I don't think I'd have called Yuko qualifying and would not have been 100% confident on Pendulum either (muuuuch better than the song you used as your 50th entry from them Dobbo!) - hopefully that's boding well for NOMELON NOLEMON as well then.

Ooh gracias random.org not making me wait! Was not feeling too worried about this entry after a good response on SyncTube but it's nice to have the confirmation of qualifying with something I plucked from a very obscure corner of the Internet as the last couple I tried (Crushes Bones and Imane El Halouat) fell just short. Good stuff from Bambie Thug to qualify alongside as well and also yay for WORSTIEHub who are on a good run at the moment x Was very confused by Jupiterdonia DNQ predictions as this seems like a safe hit to my ears.

Aw 21st for The Books then, that sucks a bit, though it was definitely the one of my top 10 of semi 1 I thought had the least chance of qualifying so cannot act shocked, getting 9/10 through is good going again. Glad Lookylion's DNQ streak has ended at least! edit: and only 1 point off, rood x Semi 1 DNQs in my ranking: 2nd Trifoski (jumped up from 7th on my first listen for all that it matters!) 13th Lotunia 14th Sandénia 15th East Rukahavian 18th Freidland 19th Harmonica Mostly losing the middle then, almost all of my faves through but also the whole of my bottom 7 making it.

Bad luck Freidland not quite getting the comeback qualifier, reminded me a little of some of Charli xcx's older stuff.

Hooray for Danæviia *.* fruit supremacy coming through. Now just a prayer circle for Trifoski to get one of the last two slots but thinking that's probably not happening - them left along with Freidland, Kluminican Republic and Lookylion I believe?

Back to the DNQs for East Ruk indeed then aw but at least it wasn't last again... another one I ranked midtable, a solid MUNA-alike.

Good to see Tracey Thorn through. Actually have got most of my faves from the semi in now but still awaiting the fate of a couple of my biggest faves, with so few slots left I expect at least one of them will be out.

Honestly think I might have preferred a more country oriented song from Avery Anna as I really liked 'Indigo' (but not sure if her other output is in a similar vein) - this song was decent though.

Really liked both of those!

Lucy Camp was also not far off my top 10 of the semi aw (not that I was voting in this semi anyway), not as good as her previous entry for me but interesting to hear quite a different sounding song from her this time.

Yass Planningtorock finally having a qualifier <3 and yay for Pestolia too.

I enjoyed the instrumental more than the vocals on the Sandénia entry but it still definitely deserved better than that (ranked 14th for me).

The discourse continues (Even with full knowledge now of it being AI I still think the copperplate song is one of the better sounding songs in semi 1 so)

Mothertopia's was a big grower and earworm for me after my second listen, think that is my fave of the pop entries this month.

Deandria <3 was surprised to see them getting DNQ predictions, still worried about some of my other faves but I did think that one would be fine.

Yass Aeroche *.* a good tune from Baleghde as well.

In fairness I did just say it sounded better to me on second listen...! I've not done predictions for ages but I'd still probably say it's one of the more likely DNQs (if that helps to lower your hopes again ), hard to definitively rule many songs out though so I wouldn't be shocked if it does have enough of an audience to squeak by.

I definitely don't see this quite being a repeat of me getting 19/20 of my top 10 songs across the semis qualifying as happened last month, a few of my big faves have been getting DNQ predictions! Insert all relevant prayer circles x
