Her songs are way too superficial and dumbed down lyric-wise. Her singles at least. I can't believe none of my fav Ciara songs are among her singles, except for Work.
Turntables
High Price
Yeah I Know
Turn It Up
are all 11-worthy.

I thought Alex came on Buzzjack a few months ago and said the idea of releasing albums these days was pretty pointless and he'd be concentrating on singles?
I somehow missed this post. He did concentrate on singles. He release 8 of them.
Epigrams and Interludes is more of a compilation, considering it includes:
8 pre-album singles:
Across the Sea
Forever Yours
Jack and Coke
Lady Godiva
Good Morning Sunshine
She Walks Right Through Me
This Kiss
Stupid Stupid
2 songs from his previous albums:
Holding On (Parrot Stories)
The Time of You Life (The World Is Mine)
A song by another artist:
Poison
A song previously released on a compilation:
Losing a Future (DFTBA Records: Volume Three)
Well, 8 new tracks is still a lot but it's not even 50% of the album.

The whole model is f***ing BROKEN. No show apart from the ones with a huge, loyal fanbase (primarily procedurals) can survive month-long hiatuses twice or three times a season. For 90% of the dramas on network TV, 22 episodes per season is a joke. They all need to adopt the cable model of 13-15 eps per season. Problem is then they won't have as much potential to make money so they'll never go for it, and most new shows will continue to last two seasons max.
I remember when 24 used to air all 24 episodes from January to May without any breaks. It was much easier to follow the plot and it worked ratings-wise.
A more recent example is The Walking Dead that split its 16-episode season in two and aired all episodes with just one break. It's an example all networks should follow.

So we've now basically heard half the album, meaning we're only getting 5 new songs in May (6 if you haven't listened to the leaked version of Beat Beat). Can't say I'm excited. She could have bothered to include at least a couple more songs, even if they've previously leaked.
01. Motorway
02. Confusion
03. Broken Record
04. Shake
05. Beat Beat
06. Every Night I Say a Prayer
07. Crescendo
08. Strangers
09. All for You
10. Satellites
11. Little Black Dress
12. Technicolour
13. Headphones
14. Superstitious Heart
15. Whatever Sets You Free
