'Wordshaker'
Wordshaker was a non-mover at #147 last week and FIO dropped to #93 which means it at least has had a decent 10 weeks in top 100. ^_^

Back up to #18 on Irish iTunes after falling to #27 as a result of the X Factor effect. :) Wonder if their appearance on Blue Peter today will help

Buzzjack Girlband Record Of The Decade
I voted Pure Shores and Issues. Pure Shores is actually the best girlband song for me along with the rest of the All Saints singles. Really wish they'd re-unite, they're still my favourite girlband but The Sats are compromising for their absence now. Aren't All Saints the only girlband with a perfect top 10 record, if you discard Chick Fit which never received a proper release

Ego // 2nd Single
X Factor is going so overboard I'm sick to death of Leona, Alex, JLS and the X Factor Finalists singles. Not to mention all the old songs reappearing all the time it's so pathetic and always gets in the way of artists who actually work their butts off for success like The Sats

Artists of, er, 'unusual' nationality in the UK top ten?
Was just thinking who that group was on B*Witched's "I Shall Be There" -Ladysmith Black Mambazo are South African and have had 3 top 40 hits and two singles that just missed the top 40. Chart History: 1995 47 World In Union '95 (Ladysmith Black Mambazo featuring PJ Powers) 1995 15 Swing Low Sweet Chariot (Ladysmith Black Mambazo featuring China Black) 1997 33 Inkanyezi Nezazi 1999 42 Ain't No Sunshine 1999 13 I Shall Be There (B*Witched featuring Ladysmith Black Mambazo)

#36 in the midweeks today. Should recover a little tomorrow I hope seeing they've rebounded since the full-force X Factor effect from Sunday evening.

Frankie Channels Rihanna Look @ Aura Nightclub
The Saturdays enjoy a boozy night out to celebrate Christmas You don't see these girls let their hair down too often. But The Saturdays showed they've got plenty of bounce last night during their very own Christmas do. The fivesome - Mollie King, Frankie Sandford, Una Healy, Rochelle Wiseman and Vanessa White - got stuck into the bubbly at London club Aura. In typical girls' night out fashion, they danced on their seats and flashed plenty of flesh in front of fellow partygoers. Frankie was the bravest, venturing out in a revealing floaty top and leather shorts with suspender-tights. Eager to join in the fun was fellow pop beauty Pixie Lott who posed with Frankie and Rochelle with glass in hand. The girls started their evening off at Mayfair Hotel before heading to Aura for their share of festive frollics. Buzzjack Girlband Record Of The Decade
I really hope we don't have a final consisting of only GA and Sugababes singles :/ based on by how much they're winning we probably will. The tie between Rock Steady and Whole Again needs to be broken before I start Group B tonight

Buzzjack Girlband Record Of The Decade
No lol, I've spread PCD's 5 biggest hits at random between the 4 groups. Beep just happened to land up in group A, so there's still Don't Cha, Stickwitu, Jai Ho and When I Grow Up to come. The same with the other girlgroups and which is why the Sugababes ended up with 2 songs in this group because their 5 biggest hits had to spread out between four groups

^ Fantastic! :D The drop shouldn't affect its midweek position tomorrow at all/much. Hopefuly back in the top 20 soon. Their Blue Peter performance isn't that far away either which should help along with this sort-of tabloid promo they're getting from how they partied over the weekend.

JLS & Their Creepy Infatuation With The Sats
http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/2/2c/Jls_Everybody_in_Love.jpg The relationship between boy band of the moment JLS and girl band of the moment The Saturdays over the last few months has been found intriguing by most. The boyband admitted to having crushes on the girlband which no one took serious note of. This was until their puppy eyes started coming to surface in numerous interviews and their romantic compliments toward the girls started enlarging with everyday that went by. The band even went as far as to admitting they were 'smitten' with the five-piece girl group. This was followed-up with The Saturdays member, Rochelle Wiseman responding to their infatuation by saying that 'they're sorry but they're all taken,' in an interview with the Mirror. Despite the girlband's response, JLS have persisted by following The Saturdays to the majority of functions and gigs they were scheduled to attend. Of which included: Sunshine at Christmas, T4's Stars of 2009 and the album launch party of Alicia Keys's latest record entitled "The Element of Freedom". The boys then invited the "Forever Is Over" singers to the exclusive birthday party of member JB, which in the end was only attended by members Rochelle and Frankie. It was later revealed that the two girls and four boys partied it out up until 3.30 that morning. Coincidently the boy band recorded a song entitled "One Shot" for their debut album as did The Saturdays for their top ten hit album "Wordshaker," despite on the cover of the girls's sophomore record mentioning their track "One Shot" being a single to be released, JLS have also went ahead and announced their "One Shot" as follow-up single to their number one hits "Beat Again" and "Everybody In Love". If their track is meant to correlate or be directed at The Saturdays, is yet to be questioned. In an interview with Celebs on Sunday, JLS were asked who would they like to kiss under the mistletoe this Christmas. Marvin responded by mentioning Rochelle, JB by mentioning Mollie, Ortitse by mentioning Vanessa, Auston by mentioning Frankie and Una. Member Frankie was recently banned from attending the premiere of New Moon by boyfriend and McFly band member, Dougie out of his paranoia regarding her crush on Robert Pattinson. Dougie has yet to respond to Auston's public-made infatuation with his girlfriend.

Frankie Channels Rihanna Look @ Aura Nightclub
The Saturdays' Frankie Sandford Channels Rihanna In Suspender Tights And Leather Hot Pants At Christmas Party Despite the bitterly cold temperatures in London last night, The Saturdays star Frankie Sandford decided to show off her toned figure in a daring outfit of sheer shirt, leather hotpants and printed suspender-style tights. Modesty was clearly not on the menu as Frankie joined the rest of her bandmates at Aura nightclub in London's Mayfair for a Christmas Party held by their record label Fascination. The 20-year-old singer seemed unconcerned about the weather as she enjoyed the attention she attracted in her slashed to the navel top and tiny shorts. Frankie was also accompanied by her boyfriend, McFly star Dougie Poynter. While bass player Dougie seemed to be enjoying his girlfriend's sexy outfit at the party, Frankie recently revealed that he suffers from terrible jealousy and banned her from attending the premiere of The Twilight Saga: New Moon. Asked who she has a crush on, Frankie replied: "Robert Pattinson... I really wanted to go to his new film premiere, but my boyfriend Dougie wouldn't let me. He said, 'I'm not taking you, you'll run away with him.'" While Frankie went for the outrageous, headline-grabbing look, bandmates Rochelle Wiseman, 20, and Una Healy, 28 went for the options of baring their legs in short, sparkly dresses. Mollie King, 22, decide to opt for a girl, demure outfit in a pink tutu-style knee length skirt, black vest top and black sequinned amy belt. Other guests at the Christmas event included Pixie Lott, who wore a LBD accessorised with long chain necklaces and lashing of eye makeup. However despite their radical outfits, all the celeb guests had one thing in common at the party last night - their towering heels. The Saturdays have rarely been out of the media spotlight since releasing their first single If This Is Love in 2008. They have since had two hit albums Chasing Lights and Wordshaker and are becoming known for the risque outfits they wear in their music videos, as well as the often matching clothes they wear when they go to events as a band. However, Mollie says she often dislikes the outfits chosen for her. She said: "I'm not really into play suits and things like that and sometimes we have to go with the group, so we have to wear stuff like that, but I don't really enjoy those." iTunes Chart: December II
When last has X Factor had a girlband perform on the show, has a girlband even performed on the show before or am I forgetting something. Mollie was actually making a really good point by mentioning X Factor for in a way being anti-girlband. The Sats have a shot at top 10 or top 15 at least in the Xmas week I reckon with all the promo they're squeezing in between December 16th and December 26th. Wouldn't be too worried about #21 now especially seeing how dead quiet their physical release week is going to be and #21's sales at this time of the year is almost equal to a #10's every other time of the year. Maybe they've achieved a new iTunes peak by the time the chart's unfrozen :D

Ego // 2nd Single
Welcome to the forum. :) The only promo confirmed so far: Blue Peter - Dec 16th, GMTV - Dec 21st, Alan Carr - Dec 22nd, Ant & Dec - Dec 26th. So nothing confirmed for the release week so far but they most likely will promote quite a bit for the sake of saving the album. Just a little too early for confirming TV appearances that will only take place next year.
