Mariah, The Pogues and The Muppets should all claim spots in the top 10. And I see Wham, Band Aid and Shakin Stevens all going top 20. Plus there's Rage Against The Machine and George Michael. Xmas effect is still strong IMO

Couldn't agree with you more! :D But I highly doubt it, had it been the first single it might have had a shot at no.1 seeing it seems to be more popular than FIO

I would post regular updates but having to do updates for the Xmas songs and a top 300 is just too much, top 200 I can handle it doesn't take that long and the songs within the top 200 only really impact the charts anyway couldn't give about what's outside it TBH

I doubt it, Xmas effect should be in full force as well as X Factor next weekend it should stick around the top 20 till its release week though which is great

I think Ego and Up are pretty even stevens although they are hardly similar in sound and length etc. Judging chartswise so far, Ego could have a Issues-like rise and longevity. I don't see it staying around as long as Up did really but who knows. FIO deserved Up-like longevity it's my fave Sats song but at least its their joint highest charting single so far :D

^ Wow that's fantastic it should chart around the same position in the UK on Sunday and climb a lot more in next week's Irish chart seeing it's now #14 on iTunes

3OH!3 are guaranteed top 10 next week I'd say, they were released on Irish iTunes just this morning and have made #154->#15 climb so far today. Whereas Mini Viva are #160 but they probably are more popular in the UK but I really don't think I Wish will go top 10 or top 20 it's so bad LOL

I don't think Beyoncé has a chance TBH, the Lady GaGa version of Video Phone has hardly been doing anything on Irish iTunes all week which is usually an indicator to how well it would do in the UK. Unless she's still performing it on X Factor, and with Lady GaGa that is

And yes The Sats album is characteristically flopping in its early stages, but Ego is looking to be a huge hit atm and after the 3rd single Wordshaker sales should pick up in a similar way that Chasing Lights did after the release of the amazing 'Issues'.
