Wish they'd cancel the band... ^_^

I picked up a cd called "strummin' with the devil: the southern side of van halen" the other day which is a tribute album to van halen done in bluegrass form. I've gotten van halen tributes before and this is by far the best one out there. With all tributes, some tracks arent that good, but most of the tracks on this are really well done. David Lee Roth does vocals on two of the tracks (jamie's cryin' and jump) and the cover of eruption done by Iron Horse is insanely cool. there are clips and stuff on their website (link) that yall can check out, and here's the cover art http://myspace-327.vo.llnwd.net/00685/72/35/685795327_m.jpg

the videos for this album have been lacking, but the very first one with the kid is pretty good. Normally placebo videos are mindblowing, but I'm not impressed. point aside, this album is amazing. I love every bit of it.
