As to what will be the next No.1, BEP's will definately take a 6th week, but I'd say Jay-Z will take the top the week after. He's already No.2 on iTunes. Although will Shakira be out then?? Because if she is she'll definately be No.1!

Those sales sound right. I don't suppose there's any way you can remember where you saw that article by any chance?? Oh and it's nice to see people outside of Ireland taking such an interest in the Irish chart by the way :)

Well, a lot of the big stuff gets released in most major markets as well as Ireland. This weeks No.16 has been released in Canada, France and Australia too. But yes, I don't really know why Ireland tends to get the big stuff ahead of the UK. All I know is I'm not complaining!

Yep that's the one!! Do you have any idea how old that website is by any chance? And I'd love to know how they got that info out of Chart-Track because I emailed them once asking for sales info and they told me it was all strictly confidential.

I know, we are starved of information! However, once I googled 'irish singles chart sales' and found a website on like the second or third page which gave a small bit of info. It claimed that average sales for a No.1 are 6,000 and average sales for a No.10 are about 1,000. However I don't know how old this website was and whether or not it was started before the inclusion of downloads.

This weeks No.14 is the peak for Remedy thus far. I'm really hoping it'll crack the top ten but it seems to have dropped a bit on iTunes :(. Quite strange actually cause it was locked at No.11 for days - exactly the same as the UK iTunes. And Hands peaked at No.20 in its debut week - but dropped off the chart almost instantaneously :(:(

The chorus really is the only good part, but I'll say top 20. Had no idea this was getting a release over here though!
