Do you really think it's that good? I think it sounds like an Avril Lavigne B-side from 2003 to be honest! And I think we are on 2nd on Thursday night, we'll be forgotten about instantly. I hope not though!

Yeah she's on the Irish iTunes, but no sign of her in the top 100 so far I'm afraid! UK eurovison entrys haven't done well on the Irish charts recently. Javine got to No.32 with Touch My Fire and Scooch, of all people, charted at No.48 with Flying The Flag For You. And I can't believe that the UK can't vote in our semi-final! You were our only hope!!

Delighted that that the new BEP song is in the top ten, it's class! As ashamed as I am to say it, I do rather like the new Miley Cyrus song.... I think it will become her first Irish top ten hit next week. Also pleased that La Roux are on the brink of the top 20, but kind of surprised that it's taking this long. Kind of annoyed that U2 are in the top five, but I predict a huge plunge next week. As for Ireland's eurovision entry new at No.15, I think it may climb a place or two next week, but will fall off the chart within a couple of weeks when we finish last in next Thursdays semi final with 7 points (6 from the UK and 1 from Poland, methinks!) Anyone else continue to be amazed at the success of both Poker Face and The Fame???

Take Me Back only peaked at No.16, even though it is, in MY opinion, a far better song. One of the best of 2009 so far. As for N-Dubz, they have never cracked the top 50 once before in Ireland! Although I think their album may have scraped into the top 50....

I know! Even though I like the song, I'm astounded it went to No.1. Lady GaGa drops to No.2, giving her a SEVENTEENTH week in the top ten.

Hmm, what do we all think about Tinchy Stryder and N-Dubz being No.1 this week??

So we should all wait about two days until we can talk about the Irish charts just cause it takes someone ages to post it?

I know, it's incredible. I can't remember the last time a song has stuck around this long and so high. I think Poker Face will probably end up outselling Just Dance.

One of the most striking things about this weeks chart is the impact of Pink's 'Funhouse' tour which visited Dublin on the 19th and 20th of April. 'Please Don't Leave Me' climbs almost thirty places to No.13, 'Sober' re-enters at No.32 whilst album 'Funhouse' re-enters the top five for the first time since last November. The power of reality tv is highlighted yet again as 'I Dreamed A Dream' registers inside the top thirty thanks to Susan Boyle's rather good interpretation of it on Britain's Got Talent almost two weeks ago. Other interesting climbs this week include 'Not Fair' by Lily Allen, giving her her second Irish top five hit, The Noisettes finally climb inside the top ten for the first time with 'Don't Upset The Rhythm', whilst the Black Eyed Peas epic comeback single 'Boom Boom Pow' jumps ten places still without hardly any promotion. Making pleasing progress also is 'In For The Kill' by La Roux, which leaps twenty places to No.27. 2008's best selling single shows no signs of dying yet meanwhile, as Galway Girls re-enters the top 50 yet again to register its 91st week on the chart. Lastly, for all your Eoghan Quigg fans out there, his self titled debut has plunged eighteen places to No.20!

Hope La Roux manages to break the top 50 this week. She is currently No.43 on iTunes so its in with a chance. Also Boom Boom Pow looks likely to climb inside the top twenty, along with Return The Favor by Keri Hilson.

Predict: Lady GaGa - Paparazzi
Surely it won't be released as far away as July will it?? I'm very annoyed that Paparazzi is being released ahead of Love Game and Eh Eh. I think if Love Game came next it would have had a good enough chance of getting to No.1. However, Paparazzi isn't as good and the album has now sold over 300,000, I very much doubt it can get to No.1. I think it can get top 5 though.

Poker Face is currently No.1 in Germany, so it can't be that bad! And the Irish have brilliant taste in music, just ignore this weeks No.1 album.

WTF Pussycat Dolls at No.1?? I just don't get this song. Also good to see Britney up to No.11, Lily Allen at No.12 and The Noisettes in the top 20. Lets not talk about Eoghan Quigg any further....
