  1. Matt No.1 song of the year
  2. Tbh I think it's unlikely it'll hit No.1 in Britain, its Jan 17th release date is two months too late if you ask me. Most people will have illegally downloaded it by now, sure Britain is literally like the last country to get it! And yeah, shocked it hasn't climbed higher than No.32 over here so far, think it's her best song since tik tok! :o
  3. Haha Biffy Clyro God And Satan at #100, due to the Paul Galvin show I bet!
  4. Glad Ke$ha is finally starting to make some form of headway :D
  5. All The Lovers no.1 I suppose?
  6. That was posted on this forum earlier in the year by a FM who had made about 6 posts in three years prior to making the post. He had no source whatsoever and didn't make any further posts. Chart-Track once stated that the average Irish No.1 sold 6,000. So Usher supposedly selling 1K one week was, obviously, absolutely false.
  7. Interesting to see songs that are so old make the top 40, such as Sweet Disposition and Little Lion Man :o Also incredible to see DDAO there considering it was originally released back in 2008. So Bad Romance was No.10 last year and No.11 this year, would love to know if it's combined sales are actually more than Love The Way You Lie or I Gotta Feeling from last year. Would also like to remind people that this isn't the official end of year chart, Matt will still go to No.1
  8. Embarassing for the morons who bought it
  9. Not possible that Boyzone could be No.26 with this song, it peaked at No.39 and spent one week inside the top 50. Perhaps it's actually Gave It All Away? Otherwise this chart is bollocks.
  10. Well done Matt, some 'achievement' in fairness
  11. I know Matt is going to be No.1, but given how privatised the Irish chart is, I highly doubt a radio dj would be allowed post sales figuires on a public free-for-all site such as Twitter.
  12. Like I said in the other thread, pinch of salt required ;)
  13. I'd guess it'll be the end of year No.1? (minus x factor of course). I mean, three weeks at no.1 and sixteen weeks in the top ten? :o
  14. I don't understand what you mean? The christmas No.1 will be confirmed this week.
  15. Think I'll take this with a pinch of salt ;)
  16. ShakyFan, at the start of this thread you've listed the 50 single sales of 2009, is this the official countdown?
  17. Er not quite, population is about 4.3 million
  18. Where did you hear this? :o
  19. Christ, just realised there that 8 of the top 10 have X-Factor connections :(
  20. Wow, it doesn't seem Rubberbandits were even close. They could still get the Xmas No.1 next Friday, especially with their Late Late appearance.... who knows!
  21. Doesn't matter, even if horse outside sells more downloads, Matt will sell twice as many physicals. Whilst it may have a better shot getting the Christmas No.1 next week, comple lack of awareness of the Irish charts will prevent this. I mean, there's a campaign going on facebook encouraging people to download it this week "so it can get the christmast No.1", even though the christmas chart is next week. Also, I saw a comment on youtube (yes it was one comment, but it seems to be the general consensus among most Irish people) telling people to hold off downloading until sunday "so it can get the christmas No.1", even though our chart week begins on fridays.
  22. Can anyone tell me who these Rubberbandits people are and why are they doing so well? :D
  23. Where does your brother DJ? Gay nightclubs??
  24. Wow, even the Irish people on here don't give a $h!t about the chart this week :D Would love to see Firework at No.1 next week! Would be amazing for Katy Perry to get three No.1's from one album :o
