Edit: Obessed UK iTunes release date - August 18th, I doubt the US release date will be much earlier than that seen as they'll try for another fake #1 by waiting for big airplay then release it so not many downloads are needed.

^ I don't think your statement of no-one else having a chance at Hot 100 #1 for a long time is true tbh. A fake/bootlegged version of Drakes song Best I Ever Had made it to #4 on iTunes in 2 days and has vastly growing airplay so this is a contender for #1 when released, which Drakes blog says is soon. Also, BBP's airplay is dropping now and Keri is #2 airplay, still increasing so I imagine she will go #1 airplay and when this really takes off on pop the downloads will increase. LoveGame is strong on downloads with only one performance and increasing on airplay every week. I doubt GaGa will let the opportunity of 3 #1s go by without a fight so when a media blitz starts downloads will probably increase further and airplay will be larger by then.

If BBP is selling 200k then IGF is on track to sell like 400k :o

Ok The Fame is officially #8 on the Billboard 200 with sales of 47,000, up 3%. Only pushed down due to all the new entries as per usual.

I think it's around 2.5/2.6 mill, http://www.worldwidealbums.net/2008.htm hasn't been updated for 2 weeks due to the owner going on holiday but we should get an update soon.
