The studio version is just so boring. I wish someone would remix it and give it some 'umph' - then it really would be a good pop song - if only the freemasons were reading my post! i can't see this charting very well. I much prefer the live set up without the backing vocalists but i think we will be back to that at ESC due to pre-recorded vocals not being allowed to be used. The performance is still 'missing' something - maybe stage presence? Needs working on anyway. Love her hair here too. I know i am a whinging eurovision fan but seriously - when are we getting a music video?! and some more info on her promo tour etc Fed up of waiting for details =D

It's more dumb than anything else to state them openly when partaking in a contest that lots of liberal countries will be voting in who will see his views as backwards.

Especially stating the word 'regressed' in regards to society approving of gay people... Yet he wants to take part in the campest contest in the world....

Well as far as I remember it isn't broadcast live in Australia ? They have it over 3 day period and they do their own vote after the live contest and compare their result to actually won. So if the 2 semis are shown on fri/sat in Australia and they vote - the highest votes are tallied for 12-1 to be used as Australia's votes in the final which is shown in Europe on Saturday and then broadcast in Australia on Sunday. It's just an idea :P Re your comment about the Mediterranean countries being allowed to take part because they are part of the broadcasting area... Yep I get that and understand that's why they're allowed to participate but it is just as stupid as letting Australia take part in a show called eurovision... At least Australia is culturally and mostly ethnically of European decent rather than just being close to Europe and being able to pick up a signal....

I guess but Australians do have a lot of European heritage/ancestry and are more culturally similar than say Morocco who have taken part or the other North African places allowed to participate.

Maybe country was a bad choice of word to use ;p Yep I agree that because they aren't in the broadcasting area is the reason why they can't take part and also something to do with not being in the council of Europe if I remember rightly? But what I was implying was that it'd be good if the ebu could bend the rules to allow countries to not have to be within this area/group or full member if they are willing to pay a big one off fee each year to take part. Not that it'll ever be allowed but just an idea around it. I'm sure they could work out a way around the time zone - maybe only jury votes being counted for Australia or those cast from the the public at the semi-finals.

I wonder if some sneaky work to try and make the favourite not qualify is going on here! I hope that Armenia doesn't get to the final - that'd be great. Re Australia - the ebu needs to find a way to bend the rules to let them take part. Maybe if a country pays a HUGE amount of money they don't have to be a member and can just take part?

I'm surprised considering the advert has been on quite a few times - it's a shame the advert doesn't show the name of the song as most people won't have a clue who it is. Have you any idea around how many copies has to be sold to get to 1500? Hopefully she will try and release properly over here and some digital media will pop up on iTunes. Does she also need to be signed to a uk label to get promotion over here or can her German branch push promo here? Not sure how it works!

Has it had any impact on iTunes yet? I'm not sure where to look for an iTunes list that goes in to the hundreds

How long do you all think it will be until we get the final studio version? It's likely not much will change from what's already out there but I'm eager to hear! I wonder if we will get a music video this year or if the bbc are going you just have the live performance video that is already out?
