I agree but i love the way gordita sounded more 'rocky' when she sang it at glasto? Does anybody know when it is released in the UK?! I wonder if she will add Give It Up To Me on to the album for the UK to beef up the number of English songs.

It was good to see her talk again, i hate when celebs get so big that they just become media trained dummies never really saying anything of importance or showing personality. I miss when Cheryl had a bit of bite to her, they showed a pic of her when she said she was happy, maybe she just needs a bit of Sarah in her life who just doesn't care... might give her that umph back.

I'V been busy too, but this is one of the few forums i always read when i come on here, even if i'm not posting. It'd be good to still have the forum when the new album gets out as, it's the easiest way to find out info without having to read through billions of posts on her official website.

Gordita sounded amazing at glasto, it was so much harder and heavy metal sounding... the album version sounds bland! I was excited about a HQ version of this song too!

I can see her re-recording anything planned to be released after Loca in English too, as she knows that she has markets to please that won't accept a spanish song with open arms.. or at least the UK (If Loca gets to number one)

So this has been a big debate this year over whether Konnie was right for the Job, so now as the contest is fully underway, it's a good time to decide. When I found out that Konnie would be the new presenter I was shocked but also quite happy as I remembered her as being great on Blue Peter... how wrong I was! I still like her but I don't know if it is through the stress/nerves of fronting a high profile show or if she is just crap, but she isn't working. I think she is great when reading the autocue/presenting but she is terrible when trying to interview the judges/guests/contestants, she is too wooden and has yet to show any personality whatsoever, other than when she occasionally forgets herself and uses the word babe ha She has just married a comedian so there must be an amazing personality that Simon saw in her but she surely isn't bringing it out when presenting! I also think this has something to do with her just not being interested, I wouldn't be surprised if she has never watched the show before and just sees it as pop culture rubbish and would much rather present something more serious, and thus, sees it as her stepping stone to a future career? I think this because she is never excited when speaking about the show to guests or even to the judges/celebs and generally doesn't seem to know anything about the show/celebs other than what she is reading off a card? On a further note, will they please get Konnie a stylist or sack her stylist. That pink dress (vom) and last week’s when she interviewed Usher was so tight and short (as well as looking like tin foil) you could almost see her knickers! Up her Budget Cowell! How did she blag this job?! So is she right for the show? If not who should they get to replace her? I’ve not really thought in to who It should have been to replace Holly or who I would like to see replace Konnie but off the top of my head, if Simon wanted to give a children’s presenter a break, shouldn’t it have been Angellica Bell? I remember her oozing personality, and the public would easily warm up to and she is hilarious! As well as her needing a break about now!

Joe gets a good song yet a cheesey video and an x factor performance and doesn't get to number one... bit disappointed! Although a bit more promo could have helped!

But it would have been hard to make another song with the She Wolf sound without it sounding like she hasn't come up with any new ideas! I do agree that She Wolf was a masterpiece, it just annoys me that her albums and follow up singles are never all there... If Shakira is going to want to make an impact in the UK, she is going to have to fix this... good albums, but just that, she needs a 12 track 'able to be singles' album, which is cutting edge, and like nothing else out there... and i don't really agree with the comments above, i think Loca would sit perfectly on a shakira powerhouse album, it isn't a step backwards, it's an improvement of her work.

Also they said that you can buy their songs on ITUNES? But they aren't allowed to reveal how they are selling because it will wreck the show? Couldn't they just do that in the final like 4 weeks? because the show will change alot plus it means they won't have hits? Which makes it kind of pointless? I may be wrong on this, but it's just what i have read in to it?
