Yep I think I agree that the big 5 should be dropped and also think no jury should be used. Bring back live music too. But I doubt the bbc want to risk losing 10.5 million viewers - they wouldn't let the big 5 go without a fight haha

Reading comments on a daily mail article about Austria's win and the comments are so homophobic/transphobic - I know not to expect any better from the daily mail but it is still sickening to see people act that way. Plus the article even refers to him as transgender... What's so hard to understand that he is a drag queen?

I hope molly isn't too heartbroken today - and hopefully she will now be able to be a successful songwriter at least and not need to work in top shop again!

Yep I get why that would annoy other countries... Maybe if the big 5 sang a live portion of their song as a kinda medley with the other 4 countries so that they got a little more exposure... Rather than a video snippet

I feel like we will see a big 5 drop out soon too - I don't think it'll be the uk though. The big 5 need to sing in the semi final intervals for more exposure and tbh id quite like the jury vote to be got rid of - Poland situation is exactly why it shouldn't be used.

Shocking that we did so badly - very undeserved. *looks for excuses* - maybe because she sang last and her number took so long to appear on the tv on each run through of entry numbers, it had less exposure and the last time it was shown the phone lines shut almost straight away after, thus not giving them enough time to vote. But in reality it probably just wasn't good enough. I think she gave the best performance and made the song come alive - which made us get caught up in the hype. The song did take me a while to connect and some parts of the song were quite weak lyrically... We were hoping for the song to be reworked a little originally, remember? The Bbc just needs to keep trying to get a perfect song. It's all they can do... I'm glad conchita won but at the same time, he won for a political message - the real 'song' winner is the Netherlands which is being reflected on itunes.

Well I'm beyond disappointed at Molly doing so badly. What's next for the uk...

She sounded the best I've heard her. It sounded a million times better than anything else. I hope she delivers tomorrow and if she doesn't win I will be majorly disappointed

So I'm guessing the juries didn't mark that as there are no pyros? It is all rather static and the movements all looks too planned - hopefully she will bring 'it' more on the night otherwise that isn't good enough.

Plus I doubt juries will lose concentration as they are their doing a job so surely she will be very high if not win the jury vote.

^ if she is amazing at the end I think she'll be fine. People have won in the final slot before and will be watching to get the phone numbers to vote - maybe eurovision fans can be a little over the top with statistics without taking in to account quality of songs that have performed last previously.
