  1. Shakira by faaaarrr
  2. So much great info!
  3. X was a more interesting album, Aphrodite didn't cover any new ground.
  4. I like a lot of songs on X, there are many that scream "single!" and for different reasons. It wasn't very cohesive but I enjoy it. Aphrodite suffered from the opposite, it was brilliantly cohesive but had no songs screaming for release!
  5. I'd like there to be a re-release to: 1 - get the album to platinum in the Uk 2 - get the album to 1million worldwide 3 - get some new songs!
  6. Tweet from Kylie: PS - have not 'Fallen out' with record company!!! On the contrary, i *HEART* @Parlophone and we have some surprises coming up for you!
  7. That's really nice, thanks for sharing :)
  8. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Best-Kylie-Minogue...9694&sr=8-2 Anyone have any details on this?
  9. Well that says a lot... So that's irrelevant... Can guarantee that's not true, I've seen her four times and never have I thought she was over-supported by backing singers. This sums up your "review" nicely. Again, quite irrelevant. I think I'll hang-fire on taking your review to heart and just watch and judge for myself. Thanks for your time though.
  10. Not surprising though. Wonder how close we are to platinum now.
  11. It shouldn't all be in capitals is the problem, it should be "Him". As when referring God the first letter is always capitalised.
  12. The Virgin Media Music Awards were dominated by female singers this year (11) - KYLIE MINOGUE, LADY GAGA and SHAKIRA took all the top accolades in the public vote. The annual honours, which are voted for by British music fans, celebrated the chart-topping queens of pop music - with Minogue scooping Best Album for Aphrodite and Best Single for All The Lovers. Shakira was crowned the Best Solo Female and Christina Aguilera's return to the spotlight was voted the Best Comeback, while Lady Gaga's Telephone track with Beyonce landed the Best Collaboration honour. Marina Diamandis of Marina And The Diamonds was lauded as the Best Newcomer, while blonde pop singer Pixie Lott snagged the Hottest Female title. The boys also had their fair share of prizes - rockers Muse were voted Best Group and Best Live Act, while late Beatle John Lennon was named Legend of the Year. http://www.contactmusic.com/news.nsf/story...-awards_1200116
  13. seejayjee posted a post in a topic in UK Charts
I went for an optimistic Top3. No.1 next week though.
  14. I don't think she could ever make a great comeback to be honest, not that I don't want her to but I think her music time is over.
  15. I love it, it's hugely anthemic and so imbued with personality!
  16. I reckon Lady GaGa will be bigger, "Born This Way" is a hugely anthemic song compared to "Hold It Against Me" which has no individuality about it, anyone could have recorded it. I think GaGa's album and tour will be better, mainly because she is a more talented singer and sings live.
  17. I totally agree this needs a killer lead, something a bit harder than what she's already released from Aphrodite. Higher should be on it as well as 4-5 new tracks and possibly a few mixes as they might entice the odd extra sale. PROMOTE PROMOTE PROMOTE!
  18. March? So we'd need another single before then, hope it's true!
  19. Eeek, that is quite a tumble! SO close to 300k too!
  20. Such good sales for a #32 single! Any midweeks for the album?
