^Well, who cares about OOC when Greatest Hits is up 3 places to 37 in the charts this week and I think DOI had very little impact on Untouchable and the album, but there will be plenty time to still promote and make a success of the release.

In the charts this week, The Promise is up to 56 and The Loving Kind is at 81 :cheer:

I get where you're coming from but I think Untouchable in general is a much better single than TLK. And the radio mix is incredible, it's just one of those songs that aren't expected to do well but do because it is generally one of the artist's better releases. Much the same with 'Up' by The Saturdays following up from If This Is Love. It's a stronger single than TLK, which is why I think it will do better.

Yes and there is always the fans and their goals of continuing GA's consecutive top 10 streak so they'll do the promo if the record label messes up. :lol: Even with the harsh criticism and mess surrounding Long Hot Summer it still went on to peak at 7, so I highly doubt this won't go top ten. That is just irrational thinking.

Was it not 4 singles, The Show, Love Machine, I'll Stand By You and Wake Me Up. And ISBY the cover? Jump was the 4th single from SOTU.

I think it will sail into the top ten but the real challenge will be scraping top 5 or top 3. All lies with the promotion strategy. And I also agree with the points Aaron has made, the single mix is in fact a vast improvement on the original and more appealing to the public. So I doubt the girls will go wrong with this, should be bigger than TLK too.

I stumbled upon this last night! And I must say I'm even more excited about this release. I don't think they can go wrong with the single mix, it's incredible! And the Bimbo Jones remix is even better! :D

Love really is blind. Well if she does not dump him it will keep the divorce rates lower but she does deserve someone much better than Ashley and who will treat her how she should be treated.

I'm glad it's their winning song and by my personal preference I think each lead single has bettered from SOTU.

because it is the best song in the top 40, well top 40 on sun & one of their best songs to date!! wouldnt be suprised if it enters top 5 on sun's chart either! if it were the first single it would have probably snatched number one :o

she is worth much more but great news especially with the credit crunch. i am also not suprised either with all the global hype going on about her and not just her music but also her fashion and personality & beauty. she is just plain spectacular .

SOTU is by far their worst single for me, so boring and bland compared to the other singles. Quite weird that its their most successful single when its one of their worst

The Promise would thoroughly deserve that record. Its by far the best girls aloud song for me and it almost is their best seller, if only the average sound of the underground did not do so well......
