Last night's episode wasn't much, nish out and about and not 1 person spotted him, can't wait for him to be gone.

I really enjoyed her so a little disappointed to see stories in the sun saying how people thought she was breathless an awkward on stage.

I wish steps had, had a Christmas's style song back in the day that would pop up in the charts yearly these days but tragedy would be the most associated one.

Listening to IP today, if the album had gone the opposite way and hugely successful I was left wondering what Kylie would have done on the next album and was I was like, Mel c northern star album type sound would have been an ideal follow up. Had IP properly taken off we would definitely had a very different new millennium kylie.

What a strange chart run, 45, 40 then out, didn't expect no top 100 after climbing to 40.

Would love that, new double cd versions would also be nice as the material is there to make great new additions.

As i said in a previous post i genuinely feel the soaps would benefit from losing an episode or 2 per week, it would also brings down the costs. Id honestly be happy to see that happen with all the soaps, they should cut corrie and emmerdale by 2 episodes a week and in their place could easily air old classic episodes to fill the air time as i think there is still an audience that will watch classic episodes and same applies for EastEnders,

Fingers crossed its his last episode tonight but i do think there is a chance he will kill eve, i think they might go for the shock factor and if it happens it could make sense as if eve and suki marry it kinda feels Eve's character has come to a natural end and possibly open up better storylines for Suki in the future.

I cant see Corrie getting axed for a very very long time if ever, if itv were to axe a soap i think Emmerdale would go first. The show just needs a bit of work on it and we see with the soaps they all go through rough patches and bounce back and corrie will be no different.

On the Steps front it looks like it will be a quiet year although we will get Claires third solo album which will something to keep us ticking over, not sure if we will get much else but hopefully at some stage in 2025 we might get some news that Steps will be getting together to start work on a future studio album.

For our kylie part it should be a good year, tour alone will make it great, tension going gold is a guarantee, and Tension 2 going silver should happen to. I'd like one more single to come soon from Tension 2 to keep things going, hopefully the joel corry single finally comes and that it's good and does well as I'd like to see her in the singles chart again. And 2025 should also be another great year for the forum after a very successful 2024.

Not that i was expecting it but neither tension or tension 2 are in the mids top 100 but they arent on sale enough to come close id say.

53 in todays mids which is the highest its ever been so fingers crossed it will stay top 100 this week.

All these sound decent in the clips but will need to see how they are performed, Lyra, the one we have thought would be an excellent choice for Eurovision is finally in there but the song sounds the weakest one in there but the quality of the clip is bad aswell, Lyra can deliver live so i am looking forward to see how she delivers even in the crap late late studio which never does the songs justice.

I think in general 2025 looks like a tough year for soaps due to budget issues and also the ever changing viewing habits of the general public, i know its a big year for EastEnders with its 40th anniversary and fingers crossed the anniversary goes well before the inevitable lull when its over plus a new producer taking over. I am slightly worried with a new producer coming in, Clenshaw essentially saved the show as it was on its knees before he came and i just hope the new producer knows the characters and doesn't undo all his work which for the most part has been great apart from the ongoing Nish saga which i cant wait to end. ITV are on a cutting budgets spree with Emmerdale and Corrie with a good few getting axed, i wonder could the same be coming for Eastenders aswell as im sure the budgets are watched closely. With a new exec coming in it usually results in at least 1 or 2 characters going so it will be interesting to see if it happens and if it does, who will it be.

I cant see that happening, the show just needs some tlc, the current producer just doesnt seem to be able to handle the show, im not an avid viewer but did tune in more regularly for Gails exit which i honestly think was terrible, it all felt totally out of sync, there was no build up, it felt very unbelievable for the most part and Gail was just so out of character for the whole lot of it, even the part towards her final scene they have David talking to Kit taking away the focus from Gail and the scene just felt wrong. ITV have budget issues and both Corrie and Emmerdale have to make cut backs, Emmerdale have already axed a few characters and the same will happen with Corrie, the guest contracts will save money aswell Helen leaving, but like Emmerdale they need to get rid of some of the deadwood and i think at the moment they have plenty to choose from in Corrie. If they can cut the cast it would be good for the show aswell as the budget. With all the soaps though i genuinely think they could all do with cutting back episodes as i think it would be beneficial for the quality, i honestly think 3 episodes a week is enough for any of the soaps, but with Corrie and Emmerdale churning out 6 a week they could maybe cut to 4 and have EastEnders on 3 as they currently only air 4 a week.

This is much closer than i thought as i was expecting a Florence runaway win.
