Yes and I was relieved they were as I was half expecting a mauling.

Good point and I think with BTDYK bern such a pivotal kylie single the cover version just never lived up.

Limbo would be perfect for that. I really enjoyed her show performance and i think she took the right route with what she performed as she packed alot in.

Debuts a tnumber 50 here in Ireland.

New at number 86 this week so least it managed to stay top 100.

It's manipulation really which really is how a large part of the charts are these days. Least in the physical days you had to put in the effort to buy the format where now its a case where streaming sites push songs your way rather than choosing them. In a way kylie was lucky to have her biggest success pre streaming as she made tones of money where as these days a 3 million selling number 1 single earns very little.

I wonder why they do it especially as kylie as a person just seems liked by everyone. I'm not fully understanding how it all works but does label payments make a difference?

If they go full on with variants, signings etc I think top 5 would be definite but a number 1 would be possible but they would have to work hard for it.
