What sort of things do people think would be good ideas for the day? If this becomes an annual thing, we might have scope for adding a quiz but unfortunately we won't be able to have that for this year. The reason I ask is because one of the other participants is worried that two people with similar interests might miss out on meeting each other at the event due to not mingling.

There's something that needs to be said about this. Even though TOTAL sales have gone up, the sales of individual records, especially at the top of the charts, have not gone up significantly. The weekly sales figures for the number 1 record for example, is still significantly down on the weekly sales figures of number 1s in 2000.

You'll have to wait and see. It's unfair for me to use their names to advertize the event. Also, if something happened like they were ill on the day or something and couldn't come, I could be accused of false advertizing! It's pretty definite that they're going to be there though.

The reply to this topic that you gave on CHC was far less diplomatic ;) There's an outside area where we can stand in the shade or sun depending on your mood. Also, there will be different degrees of chat fan there and nobody is forcing anyone to talk on a subject that they don't want to. Technically, you could all talk about the football or Big B if you wanted to.
