Will Young Switches To Island Label.
Yes Neil23, Simon Fuller will remain as Will's overall manager as such, they have a good friendship and there's a mutual respect between them, I'm sure Will will come back with a bang and a fantastic new album. :cheer:

That was very special from Alexandra, lovely. :D

Albums: big/huge sellers that never reached #1
I didn't think Will's 3rd album Keep On was going to be successful as it had a bit of a shaky start 2-12-20 but it rallied after 2nd single "All Time Love" was rushed to radio and the album went on to sell just over a million, the first single from an album is not always the one to get an album going.

New single - Losing Myself - 19th March
Fantastic! thanks munchkin. :cheer:

Predict : Lana Del Rey - Ride
Top 30, it doesn't have the lovely hooks that her other songs have, but it will help her album sell well over Christmas, which is what the label are after.

Midweeks
The Hits has been up and down iTunes this morning, *186 and now it's at *190, might be the move to Island that's sparked it off. :D

Will Young Switches To Island Label.
Thanks for the Music Week article Sunday, :D I'm really happy that he's moved away from Sony this year, I know they've been really good with him for 11 years, but I think for the last 4 years Will's had to fight his own corner a lot, the doubts and half hearted support for Echoes and Jealousy put the writing on the wall for Sony from Will I think. So happy that his manager the lovely loyal Simon Fuller feels the same, bring it on Will! :cheer:

Frankie Cocozza - She's Got A Motorcycle
Awful and what's with all the affected leg action? :manson:

Will to star in Cabaret in the West End this autumn!
Thanks munchkin, another really good and honest review, a lot of reviewers seem to pick out Michelle Ryan as the "weakest link" don't they?

Will's Autobiography,'Funny, Peculiar.'
I'm sure Will has already had some sort of talks with his next label as to when they expect/want a studio album from him, also hasn't Will been talking about writing a comedy drama since Keep On was released?

Popjustice £20 Music Prize
Well I'm pleased you like it so much, everyone has a different choice. :D
-
Popjustice £20 Music Prize
Personally I don't think it's even half as good as Jealousy, I prefer Losing Myself and I Just Want A lover to Come On.

Popjustice £20 Music Prize
Make room there's a drama queen in the house. :drama:

Midweeks
Jealousy is at #159 on iTunes this morning, probably due to the £20 quid prize award publicity, every little helps. :funky:

Happy thread part quatro
Thanks Sunday, that's a good review of the night and some funny observations on certain acts  and I love this bit. Thanks to producer Richard X who argued Will's corner splendidly. B-) :cheer:

Congratulations to Will on winning the Popjustice £20 quid music prize (an alternative to the Mercury £20,000 music prize  )and here's Richard X collecting it for Will last night. :cheer: Reasons for winning.

Popjustice £20 Music Prize
The lovely Richard X was there to collect the award for Will Young, who couldn't be there last night as he was on stage in Cabaret, I'm really chuffed Jealousy won. :cheer: Here's a photo of the reasons Jealousy won.

One Direction - Little Things
I'm just wondering why Ed thought that a song he wrote when he was basically a kid, would actually be ok for 1D to sing now?
