Exactly! I mean, look at Leona Lewis who's done NOTHING in the US with her second album, yet Rihanna is consistently having hit after hit with songs that are perfect for radio (okay bar Russian Roulette, I'm sure the only reason that was successful was because it was Rihanna's comeback song, it would have done nothing as a 2nd/3rd single IMO). They really need to take a step back a bit and cut all this 'new album' nonsense. She still has at least 3 single-worthy hits on this album that are bound to chart in the Top 20 at the very least. A re-release is a much better move if she's wanting to move back to her dance/pop routes. Release 'Fire Bomb' and 'Rockstar101' and then re-release the album around September with a killer uptempo, followed by a mid-tempo to close the era.

Wow, Rated R is clearly more of a grower of an album, not something that was ever going to instantly smash. I think giving up after 'Rude Boy' would be silly, especially when there's still tons of potential off the album. Hell, she's getting 3 Top 10 hits off this album and they want to give up on it? This doesn't happen too often these days unless your the BEPs!

Wow, its really doing well over here in the UK, and is about to impact Stateside, seems like this era isn't flopping as hard as I thought it would. I think for the next release, in the UK anyway should go as follows: 3) Fire Bomb 4) Rockstar 101 5) Photographs/ Te Amo double a side? Yes no 'Hard', I mean its probably going to do all its done already so releasing it would be silly, especially when there are superior tracks on the album that deserve proper releases.

'The Fame Factory' could be a nice close to the overall 'Fame era' it would be quite nifty and original to have her sort of do an album trilogy within an era, then take about a year or two working on some new ideas and concepts before raping our radios all over again. Actually, I LOVE this idea, she should definitely consider it.

It is on the UK set-list, though its just as a 'dance breakdown' I believe.

Eh, AIEW isn't really going to do anything right now. IICHY might have gotten her another Top 20, she'll be lucky for a Top 50 placement. She should just finish up her tour and get on with the next record.

Went to the Wembley date last night, was amazinggggg. She did 'Impossible' and 'DLMSY' aaaahhhh, I could have died. Got some videos too, the sound was so clear, so I can relive it over and over again aha :D

I bet its an 'I Turn To You'-esque vid. Haven't seen that in ages...*runs to watch* :D

Long Shot is an inferior version of IDNHU IMO, and Cry, while a lovely ballad is trumped by the epic 'Already Gone.' 'Impossible' is a lovely track and would have done well as an era-closer, while 'DLMSTY' is perhaps one of my favourite Kelly songs to date.

Why is it that the general consensus is that ballads sell albums more than uptempos? I've never understood that :s

Ugh, why isn't 'Broken Heels' picking up any sort of steam in its release week? :(

If she can't get Beyonce' on board for a performance, then I reckon she should just sing the first half of 'Telephone' acoustically with a piano for obvious promo, and then just sync into 'Bad Romance' after the first chorus for an obvious crowd pleaser :)

The trailer doesn't seem to make much use of the 'surge of the chorus' for lack of a better term. Hmmmm, hopefully it does something for Echo.

IMO, the Grammy's really saved 'Already Gone's' ass because it wasn't really going any higher than 20 before it, shows what some decent and consistent promo could have done for it!

Surprised they've even considered a 3rd single. 'Ego' hasn't exactly lit up the charts and IMO 'Worshaker' as a whole is a weaker album than 'Chasing Lights.' The former was a record packed full of potential singles IMO, they could have released a fair few more off their first effort before jumping ship and not giving themselves or the music-buying public time to breathe. 'Lies' and 'Set Me Up' would have been a lovely close to an era, and would have pushed their album total up a bit more. I'm quite indifferent to this era as a whole.

Beyonce' has sold a ridiculous amount of singles off her album....even with it hitting 1 million in the UK! Madness!
