iTunes Chart: January 2010
To be fair, its about time Flo got some mainstream success, her album is absolutely fantastic. 'Drumming Song' deserved so much better than it got IMO one of her best songs.

'Wordshaker'
Does anyone else think 'Not Good Enough' would be a good single? Although the lyrics appear to be written by an illiterate  "My eyes doesn't want to look at you" ?!?!

"Rude Boy" // 4th Single
I think 'WYT' was just a buzz or promo single. Quite rightly too, it wasn't really a mid-tempo but then it wasn't really a club banger. It was like a tempo-confused cousin of the two lol.

'Bad Romance' ● 1st Single Thread
Doesn't look like BR is gonna get its deserved No1 in the US, I think next week Ke$ha will overtake Empire State of Mind to the top spot, as GaGa settles for 3, 4 or 5 :(

What went wrong this era?
I really thought that the comeback No1. smash that was 'My Life', followed by a No.1 album surely meant good things for the 'All I Ever Wanted' era....so what went wrong? I personally feel that 'I Do Not Hook Up' was a poor, poor, poor single choice, especially releasing it after 'My Life' which was basically a far superior bigger sister to the song. I think they should have followed with 'If I Can't Have You' which was a very different side to Clarkson, and would have blown up on radio considering its what's 'in' at the moment in terms of it being quite electro-dance. I think 'Already Gone' was always begging for a release, and in the end it hasn't done too shabbily but I'd like to think that instead of canning the album after it, 'Impossible' or 'Don't Let Me Stop You' would have been the 4th and 5th singles. Any thoughts?

Already Gone - Official Thread - Chart & Sales
Reaches a new peak of 14 in the US! Thought it would be a slow burner, and it continues to surprise me as it climbs....who knows, is Top 10 that unreachable?!

Sunday Rain lyrics
Can someone just confirm, in Sunday Rain from CAS, the lyrics are 'With Saturday Sun, Always comes Sunday Rain'....right?

Already Gone - Official Thread - Chart & Sales
I thought it AG would eventually catch on, much like 'Halo', this type of song tends to take a while to grow in the US, its also done alot better than Battlefield.

Chart Runs, Sales & iTunes Watch —
Nope, all were Top 10 hits though with JD and PF reaching the top :)

Outta My Head
Leona manages to STILL stand still and sing with a mic stand during her most up-tempo number. Le sigh.

'The Fame Monster' • Album Discussion Thread
1) Bad Romance 2) Paparazzi 3) Alejandro 4) Just Dance 5) Paper Gangster 6) Telephone 7) Dance In The Dark 8) Poker Face 9) Boys Boys Boys 10) Second Time Around So Happy I Could Die and Monster could potentially make it on the list once I get into them a little more.

'Rated R' // 4th Album
Is anyone else thinking a swift re-release by early summer with some more commerical-sounding tunes in an attempt to save this era? She's got some lovely songs on there, but they're all very dark and emotional; something that will be quite hit or miss with the public and it seems that its missing judging by 'Russian Roullette.' I pray that 'Hard' can do something for the album.
-
Choose the 'Rated R' singles
They shouldn't have lead with Russian Roullette, it was a big risk and it hasn't paid off in the US, which is her biggest market. They should have done this: 1) Hard 2) Fire Bomb 3) Wait Your Turn 4) Russian Roullette (Still a worthy single, just not lead single material) 5) Rude Boy WW/Photographs US

iTunes US Top 300 [NOV 2009]
Songs aren't as instant in the US so it's gonna take longer for GaGa to get to the top. Look at how long it's taken Jay Z and Alicia

You can hear Sweet 7 on December 4th.....
OMFG, Sugababes' version of 'Punching Out'?!
-
Outta My Head
"I Got You" and "Outta My Head" are the most commercial sounding songs on the album. She needs to release these one after the other in order to establish that she's not a one-album wonder. Vocal showcases can follow afterwards to boost the album sales even further.

'Bad Romance' ● 1st Single Thread
One of the dogs is there at the beginning :)
-
What singles would you like released?
1) Happy The following are a MUST as releases if she wants people to actually see that she's more than just a ballad-churning machine 2) Outta My Head 3) I Got You 4) Naked 5) Can't Breathe/Brave

iTunes US Top 300 [NOV 2009]
Wow, goes to show that Rihanna really shouldn't have released such a risky track as RR as the lead. 'Hard' or 'Wait Your Turn' would have fared better from the sounds of them.
-
Pixie Lott - Cry Me Out
Is no-one else hearing Avril's 'I'm with You' on the chorus?!
-
'Echo' • Second Album
She definitely needs to release an uptempo so she shows the versatility that we all know she's capable of :)

iTunes Chart // October II
Wow! Look at the climb for 'The Silence'!
-
Alexandra Burke - Overcome
I think I may be in love with 'The Silence' <3
-
iTunes US Top 300 [OCT 2009]
Uh-oh, here comes 'Meet Me Halfway'....
-
JoJo - Mad Love
Wow that song is instantly catchy and very 'now', could be just as big as 'Too Little Too Late' if it gets some good promo. I think the UK would love it too :)
