Speaking about bands who focus on political issues rather than playing their back catalogues, Gallagher singled about U2's focus on charities. He said: "Play 'One', shut the f*** up about Africa." Gallagher also hit out against Radiohead. He said: "Thom Yorke sat a piano singing, 'This is f***ed up' for half-an-hour. We all know that Mr Yorke. "Who wants to sing the news? No matter how much you sit there twiddling, going, 'We're all doomed,' at the end of the day people will always want to hear you play 'Creep'. Get over it." Oasis are set to pick up the Outstanding Achievement at the 2007 BRIT Awards ceremony later this month (February 14). Speaking about their continuing relevance in light of the award, Gallagher told the Telegraph: "We had two number ones last year (in 2005), we're punching our weight with young kids, we still look good." Alex Turner previews new song while out shopping
Well the source is NME so I think it could well be true. ^_^ It bodes very well for the album if even the b-side is as good as it's currently being said to be. :D

All Saints Dropped Speculation
The best idea with All Saints would be for them to re-issue the album with a few new tracks on which could be very single worthy, they should then give it the right promotion and they could maybe be sucessful that time. ^_^ However, I'm not sure EMI would have the money to fund that project seeing as they are already struggling for cash from the looks of things and if it flopped again it would mean them losing even more money. Hopefully when they merge with Parlophone they won't have taken All Saints off their books and they'll have a bit more money to spare.

Kanye West - Graduation
I've been awaiting this album for a while now but I was reading on Wikipedia that Kanye has said it's going to be released later than it was expected, HMV have it listed for a date next month but I can't see that being very likely now. Wikipedia also mentions that the debut single from 'Graduation,' is supposed to be a song named 'Homecoming,' which was penned with Chris Martin, personally I find Coldplay a boring band but Chris Martin has managed to help artists such as Nelly Furtado with 'All Good Things,' so maybe it won't be too bad. :)

Billboard Album Chart
That's great for Lily Allen, I didn't know whether she would be sucessful in America or not but it looks like she could have quite a career over there. :D That leave hope for when Klaxons release 'Myths Of The Near Future,' there next month. :)

Pop music is not a forgiving genre
Thanks to Justin's producers he does manage to make good music as a solo artist, however I hated *NSYNC so I think we have to give the credit to Timbaland mainly for Justin's change in genre, without having such an established producer on his records he would have probably failed to pull it off.

Mr Hudson & The Library - Too Late, Too Late
I don't have a problem with The Sun when it comes to big boobs as big boobs are very good! :D When I mention music press I mean the likes of NME but I'm glad that there are papers out there who are hyping Mr Hudson & The Library. :)

Either way I suppose The Ordinary Boys are doing to badly for themselves currently, it probably would have given them a big boost in record sales back then though.

I agree that TOB are much better than Orson but I still think Orson are good. :D Have you managed to promote the TOB forum yet Luciano? Don't worry if you haven't, I was just wondering. :)

I presume you would have rather seen The Ordinary Boys over Kelly Osbourne then?

Orson are a good band aswell imo, I think that they and Sugababes need to do a tour together seeing as Orson wrote 'Easy,' and 'Good To Be Gone,' and they also share the same manager. ^_^

Did Kelly Osbourne support Robbie once and freeze on stage? Thanks for voting yes for a TOB forum by the way Jupiter. :)
