There was always going to be a lot of pressure on the band while making their 2nd album and some artists try too hard and end up making an album which has less quality to it than it would've had they just relaxed. however if the reviews of 'Favourite Worst Nightmare,' are anything to go by Arctic Monkeys obviously had nothing to worry about. :D

I've decided that another album that I'm highly anticipating to hear currently is Switches, maybe not as much as Arctic Monkeys, Hard-Fi and Sugababes though because I know they've all had strong albums in the past. :D Switches sound very good from what I've heard of them though.

'Mardy Bum,' should've definitley been a single imo but the release of this probably makes up for it anyway, Arctic Monkeys probably knew that they wanted to make another song as strong and as catchy as that which they were also going to give a release. :D Either way no matter how much the album sells I think 'Fluorescent Adolescent,' could well give the band another top 5. :D

Although what Green Day were doing on 'American Idiot,' had the punk ethic about it many could say that 'The Black Parade,' by MCR is a very similar album and not only because they used the same producer on it, however I'm glad that Green Day got the recognition they deserved with 'American Idiot.' :D

I'm sure you'll hear the new Maroon 5 song soon enough seeing as it was added to music channels yesterday and it currently seems to be getting very frequent play, I'll probably be fed up of hearing it by the time it's released. :lol:

The albums sold a fair amount already so I wouldn't be too bothered if it didn't sell much more now but obviously it's always good to get more sales for such a good album. :D

Hard-Fi's new album is scheduled to be released in summer which isn't too long to wait and I've heard a live version of their rumoured next single and that sounds fairly strong, it should sound better when it's been recorded in the studio too. :D

I've heard 'Fluorescent Adolescent,' now and I think it seems a very good choice for a 2nd single from 'Favourite Worst Nightmare,' without even hearing the rest of the album, it's not as heavy as 'Brianstorm,' but they probably wouldn't have a sucessful 2nd single if it was because the fans obviously want the 2nd single to differ to the 1st.

Hard-Fi's album is the most anticipated album of the year for me along with Arctic Monkeys and Sugababes so I would like to hope that none of them are dissapointments.

I will buy Avril's album anyway seeing as I liked 'Let Go,' and 'Under My Skin,' but from the sounds of things it's probably more similar to 'Let Go,' than 'Under My Skin.' Hard-Fi have a new album out this year. :D

It's another radio-friendly single so I think it could be another big sucess for them. ^_^ I don't have the album but I shall be getting it soon, they seem a very radio-friendly band but they're only on their first album so I'll allow that for now. :lol: However, the next album needs to have more risks. :D :lol: Btw what's the new Avril album like? I've been told that basically the whole album sounds like 'Girlfriend.'

I don't know why I think this but for some reason I can see it having a very similar sucess to The Fray 'How To Save A Life.' :lol: Probably because they're both very radio-friendly songs. How well do you think 'Over My Head (Cable Car),' will do?

I think they've already secured a big UK hit with 'Makes Me Wonder,' as well as it was only added to UK music channels today but I've already seen it numerouns times and as you say it's bound to be a huge airplay hit too. Do you think downloads will help them too?

I would've liked to hear something heavier from them but lets face it they aren't Arctic Monkeys so we can only wish for them to record something like 'Brianstorm,' one day. :lol: Maybe they're holding out for something more interesting as the 2nd release from the album and just kept it fairly simple for the first release to get people to buy their album. :lol:

Good. :D I thought it was brilliant when I first heard it and each time I hear it it's more catchy. :D Possibly even as catchy as 'This Love,' which is a good thing. The only thing I do wish from Maroon 5 is that they took a few more risks with their sound sometimes and tried not to sound as radio-friendly but hopefully we'll hear that on the new album.

I think it's a possibility that 'For Reasons Unknown,' could reach the lower end of the top 20 based on the fact that 'Bones,' and 'Read My Mind,' charted at #15 but I also think there's a possibility that it might just scrape the top 25.

I've never heard of it before either but I'm sure many people will have now that Arctic Monkeys are playing it. :lol:

I think it depends on how much 'For Reasons Unknown,' helps the album and where it charts, I don't think they would see a lot of point in funding a 5th release if they knew it was going to flop and not help the album at all.

I did actually think that people had forgotten about it and just let it slip away but I had also wondered whether there was a reason for that. :lol:

I think Siobhan seems to be an artist who could be more sucessful with her album than singles but I would like 'Don't Give It Up,' to be sucessful. :D
