Green Day/Green Day's management team probably weren't expecting the re-issues to sell that much, maybe they just wanted a small cash-in and this was the ideal oppurtunity?

Well I wanted to hear the Mutya remix seeing as for some odd reason you can actually only hear the remix before the actual single itself. :lol:

I've not actually been that interested in listening to any remixes as I'm not the biggest fan of remixes, however every now and again I like them if it's a good one like Mutya - Real Girl (Moto Blanc VoxRLP Mix). :D

I hope that future singles manage to keep the album selling well, however personally I think they could possibly do well to start with and then gradually fall more or less and not really make it back into the top 10, in other words an Arctic Monkeys sucess-wise album. :lol:

From the sounds of things it musn't have given the albums much of an increase in sales as it wasn't mentioned anywhere at all as far as I know.

When I heard 'Basket Case,' which was quite a while ago but I can't quite remember when actually, it was definitley way before the 'AI,' era though. :D :lol:

Glad that Channel 4 are going to be airing another music show, however it would be much better if they were aired at earlier hours about 10PM as I am sure they would get many more viewers around that time.

I only actually became a fan of Klaxons when I heard 'Magick,' as I hadn't paid much attention to them before then but I decided to listen to Klaxons EP and I thought they were really good. :D I have over-played the majority of the EP tracks now though however it helps seeing as they have re-mastered some of the songs slightly on the album release. :)

'It's Not Over Yet,' which is the Grace cover is definitley one of the highlights of the album to me, I definitley think it would be a big chart hit if released and I hope it is too. :D

I can actually listen to the whole of the album through without wanting to skip any tracks which is a bit of an accomplishment for me. :D It's currently just struck me how good 'Forgotten Words,' is. :)

I think Klaxons album is brilliant so I'm not sure whether I would think Jamie T's better than theirs, however I could well be suprised. :) There has already being a lot of quality music in 2007 and we're only into February. :D

Kaisers and Maximo are ones that I am looking forward to, I never thought much of 'Employment,' in the past but I gave it a good listen today and it seemed a fairly good album. :) 'A Certain Trigger,' always seemed a brilliant album to me anyway so they definitley need to make a good 2nd album but 'Our Velocity,' is great and it's brilliant to hear their music getting even faster. :D Bloc Party are a band I have never really being a fan of but 'The Prayer,' is brilliant so I shall leave it until I've heard the 2nd single from their latest album to judge if I want to hear it or not.

They have a lot to live up with this second album imo, not only because their debut was so brilliant but bands such as Kaiser Chiefs and Maximo Park have made brilliant debut singles from their 2nd albums this year. :)

I think this possibly has to be the first time I've read any of the posts in this very long topic. :lol: I've just seen the posts on this current page so far. :D Jamie T seems brilliant from what I've heard of him so far, definitley want to buy his album in the near future. :)

Seeing as they will be Arctic Monkeys brand they're bound to be the new style of indie kid's all over the land. :lol: I will definitley be wanting to see these designs and if they're any good I shall want to purchase something from Arctic Monkeys clothing range. :D :lol:

I'm not actually very interested in a return from Travis seeing as they remind me of Coldplay too much who I find boring, however Travis have had some slightly better singles than Coldplay in the past imo.

I have been listening to 'Myths Of The Near Future,' a lot during the past few days and I can honestly say that I am not bored of it yet, I personally think Klaxons have a big career ahead of them if they manage to keep up the quality of this debut album. :D

I hate Tony Christie's song. 'Walk This Way,' might not be the best song Sugababes have ever recorded but it's still good imo so hopefully it will be #1. :D

Glad that there is going to be an EP for the new single. :D

I don't think that they would re-release 'Taller In More Ways,' again for just the sake of the single so it would be more than likely to be a limited edition single or just as a bonus track on the next album imo.
