Red Light Indicates Doors Are Secured - Off-Topic Thread
I did actually think that people had forgotten about it and just let it slip away but I had also wondered whether there was a reason for that.

Ex-Sugababe 'never got on with bandmate'
I think Siobhan seems to be an artist who could be more sucessful with her album than singles but I would like 'Don't Give It Up,' to be sucessful. :D

Red Light Indicates Doors Are Secured - Off-Topic Thread
I think it's about time that this thread is revived as over the past few days this forum hasn't been that active.

For Reasons Unknown confirmed single + album hits 1million!
Great choice for the 4th single from 'Sam's Town.' :D If there's a 5th single I would ideally like it to be 'Bling (Confession Of A King),' 'Uncle Jonny,' or 'This River Is Wild.' :)

Ex-Sugababe 'never got on with bandmate'
I think it'd be great for Siobhan to have some solo sucess and I think that 'Don't Give It Up,' will probably be more sucessful than 'Overrated,' but once again I can't see her having huge sucess basing it on how she's currently doing, however I would liked to be proved wrong and see her get into the top 10 with atleast one single from this upcoming album.

Ex-Sugababe 'never got on with bandmate'
It had already been admitted by Siobhan that she left the band because she felt like she was being bullied I think. I don't understand why papers are still talking about this though as it was a long time ago and people change and both Siobhan and Keisha have their own careers now with a completley different sound.

Switches - Lay Down The Law
It was the #1 most requested video on Box Breakers today which I know isn't really a lot to go by but it gives me hope that they might even have a minor sucess with this single. :D Preferrably I would like this to go top 10 but I think that could be being a bit too optimistic.

The Libertines Reunite At Hackney Gig
I often think that The Libertines are slightly over-rated and that the lyrics fail to be quite as brilliant as those of Arctic Monkeys but I think it would be great if they could return with a 3rd album and prove me wrong. :D I admit that they do have some great tracks such as 'Don't Look Back In To The Sun,' and 'What Became Of The Likely Lads?' However if they did reform on a permanent basis I don't think they could ever be at the peak of what they're able to do unless Pete gives up drugs and let's be fair about it, it's looking less and less likely all the time and by each day he's just wasting his life away even more.

Imports
By rights imports should be counted towards an artists final position and I think this will probably be taken into consideration and could well happen, however I am not sure it will have a huge impact unless these imports are sent to all music retailers, are HMV the only place which will be selling the imports as it has usually been in the past?

Favourite Worst Nightmare Media Reviews Thread
I'm glad that I've only heard 'Brianstorm,' so far because it makes the anticipation and excitement for hearing the album for the first time when I've bought it even better. :D

Switches - Lay Down The Law
bcqXW6mtzWs What are your thoughts on this? Personally I think it's a great track and will hopefully manage to get the band some chart sucess as based on this single this band are going to have a big career ahead of them. :D Very good use of the guitar during the song aswell.

Sunday Chart Predictions
I don't know how people can call Arctic Monkeys overhyped $h!t when atleast it's shown some innoative to it and they're a great band and they deserve all the hype they get imo. Great to see that Fall Out Boy are now top 15. :D

Why I want all my favourite bands to not do well in the UK
I was an MCR fan as soon as they released 'I'm Not Okay,' but tbh it doesn't really bother me too much about when fans got into them because I still think they're a good band despite the amount of exposure they now get. :D Another good example of this is Green Day because when they released 'American Idiot,' they got a lot of bandwagon jumpers but I had been a fan since before then, the band's probably don't intend to get as sucessful as they do half of the time but obviously they would've wanted it aswell.

Favourite Worst Nightmare Media Reviews Thread
This is my most anticipated release of this year. :D Hopefully it's as good as all the reviews have been saying and I'm hoping that I'll like it even more than their debut album and that was brilliant. :)

Radio 1 Playlist
Very glad that 'Real Girl,' is already on Radio 1's C-List, they obviously expect big sucess from Mutya too. :D Also great to see Maroon 5, The View and Jamie T on the B-List and Gym Class Heroes now on A-List. :D  at them playlisting Arctic Monkeys 'Favourite Worst Nightmare,' though.

Kate Nash
I first heard her debut single 'Caroline's A Victim,' yestersay which was released in February and as good of a song that may be, the b-side to that song named 'Birds,' is brilliant. :D She appears to have the same attitude as Lily Allen but a slight folk sound to her music, her and Lily Allen are good friends anyway aren't they? I think with the right promotion she could be very sucessful this year. :D

Brianstorm Single Discussion
'Brianstorm,' gets very mixed reactions from people who judge it on how it sounds, some say it's too similar to their previous stuff where as others say it's different because it's heavier, I would be more likely to agree with the latter of the two. ^_^

Favourite Worst Nightmare Media Reviews Thread
Well it looks as if Arctic Monkeys manage to be one of the very few acts that have managed to make a 2nd album without any backlash being created by NME. :D However I suppose they could change their opinion on them mid-project realistically.

Arctic Monkeys On Radio1
I thought 'No Good,' by Plan B was good but on the whole he's a slightly boring artist and things could maybe not work too well for them if they use too much UK grime on it. Well they are the most credible girl group around though and hopefully this will make them even more so. :D

Brianstorm Single Discussion
I'm sure that a lot of artists like Dizzee Rascal wouldn't even have to give up their spare time to collaborate on something like this because they could just sample a rap from possible a b-side of his with any relevance.
-
Arctic Monkeys On Radio1
I agree that Jamie T would be interesting but Akon could either be really good or really bad. The artists they have been rumoured to be working with for their next album are Plan B, Akon, Orson, Joss Stone, The Streets, Dizzee Rascal, Jamie T, JC Chasez, Dallas Austin & William Orbit. Only Dallas Austin and William Orbit have been confirmed so far though.

The Academy Is... - We've Got A Big Mess On Our Hands
It's brilliant. :D Hopefully they manage to get quite a lot of sucess from it although I don't see that being very likely seeing as they don't seem to get any UK airplay.

I just didn't really bother going on the forum for a while there, but I'm back now and that's the main thing. :D

Sunday Chart Predictions
Glad that 'Over My Head (Cable Car),' by The Fray is already charting, probably that advert with a clip of it on helping it. :D
