Looks like it's going to be a sucessful summer for Arctic Monkeys festival-wise. :D

I actually think that both Mika and The Darkness are good. :lol: However I do think that Mika will have the longer career out the two and even if The Darkness do get a new lead singer they will flop as they were doing so when Justin was in the band during the 2nd album as they are a novelty act.

'Chasing Cars,' seems to be falling quite quickly since the new chart rules came into place, do you think this is because people have stopped downloading it because of how high it was or just a coincidence?

Do Girls Aloud manage to pull off rock well or is it a bit of a shambles? :lol:

It's a shame as it would have been good to know if Arctic's really would've knocked Gnarls Barkley off #1. :lol:

Maybe the OCC think no-one is bothered about EPs? :lol: I wish Arctic Monkeys EP had been eligible to chart as I think it was on this forum that I read it sold enough to be #1. :o

Well if Sugababes are representing rap I'm not sure they would create a rap album but you never know, they could always use some rap breakdowns in songs. :D

What musical direction do you think Sugababes should go for on the next album? Personally I would like to see them use their alternative sound again but hopefully have accomplished it slightly more aswell as some more urban sounding tracks. I also hope they manage to make a few tracks which are similar to the likes of 'Freak Like Me,' 'Hole In The Head,' and 'Push The Button,' but I also hope they aren't complete replicas. :D

If it did chart in the album chart then it won't have sold very well because I don't remember anything being mentioned about it, chances are that it probably just wasn't included in either of the singles chart or the album chart though, OCC should be much more specific with their rules.

I had only just realised that 'Loose,' did actually make the top 5. :o :lol: I had always thought that it had only managed to make #6, I realise it's only one place but there's quite a difference between a #5 and a #6. :lol:

Gwen has some good solo material but I still think that she is much better in No Doubt, one of the reasons being for that is that No Doubt still have some great rock elements about them as a band but Gwen as a solo artist seems to have bought into the whole hip-hop market.

Personally I just find 'Wind It Up,' annoying and very similar to 'Hollaback Girl,' which is another one of Gwen's weaker songs imo.

Glad that 'The Sweet Escape,' is top 75 in midweeks, hopefully this means by next week that it will be top 40?

The Kooks EP was in the mids for the singles chart and not the album chart though.

I think it's very likely that they could be headliners seeing as they did have the 2nd biggest selling album of 2006 and their new album is released soon.

I didn't think it would matter about the price, maybe it's more to do with the amount of tracks on it?

I wish I was going to see The Killers on their tour but I didn't manage to get tickets, I have seen videos though and they look a great band live. :D

I am expecting this song to be brilliant as it shows Sugababes experimenting with their sound once again even if it only be as a one-off. :D
