  1. I really think Fergie should return to BEP's asap as 'The Dutchess,' was very poor in quality compared to the likes of 'Elephunk,' and 'Monkey Business.'
  2. I don't think The Fugees will manage to be as big as BEPs currently are but if they create some good material I think they can still be quite sucessful.
  3. I'm not sure why 'Same Jeans,' was the first big hit for them as they had been just as well publicised previously, whether it's a more radio-friendly track than the previous singles and was a track that not only the alternative tv stations could play I'm not sure.
  4. If that's the case then I guess there's not much of a sucessful future for The View then?
  5. Top 100 is enough imo seeing as the bottom end of the charts would just be the same songs hanging around for months/years on end and it wouldn't really be that interesting, however from another point of view if many album tracks or unsigned bands were entering I suppose it would be good to be able to view the whole top 200.
  6. Maybe if they reduced Leona she would sell more copies seeing as I don't think she's going to sell much with 'A Moment Like This,' from now on even if they do put it at #1. Glad that they're stocking Klaxons, would definitley be very happy if they chart at #4 but realistically a top 3 hit for them would be even better. :D Also I think that The View's album which chart higher than TG, TB & TQ.
  7. Maybe it's a grower like 'Same Jeans,' was to me? I guess I can only judge when I have heard the album myself really.
  8. Someone posted somewhere that it was the best album since 'WEPSIA, TWIN.' I still haven't listened to it but I have a feeling that it's a very over-rated comment as it would have to be one of my favourite albums for that to happen and as good as The View are I'm not that big a fan judging by the singles purely alone, however maybe the album can change that.
  9. I currently think that 'Same Jeans,' is better than 'Wasted Little DJs,' it's grown on me a lot. :D
  10. If I remember correctly before Big Brovaz returned with 'Hangin' Around,' the 2 the guys were a duo and they had released an album through a website, maybe they will think about trying a sucess in the mainstream with that project?
  11. Either way 'HTGEYEWITES,' is a very radio-friendly album so I doubt that they could go wrong with releasing anything off it aslong as it's not an interlude. You getting impatient to hear it Nicky? Let me know if it's any good when you have heard it anyway. :)
  12. I'm not going to start slagging you off because I personally think that it will flop anyway because they just haven't got the hype surrounding them anymore, had they have had a quick return after 'Yours Fatally,' they could have probably managed a few more top 40 hits with the right amount of promo but let's be honest the majority of their sucess was in 2003 and since then there has been a lot of change within the music industry and they are currently still not creating songs as good as the likes of what they were then.
  13. 'The Great Big Rip-Off,' would be the choice of mine for the next single but I also think 'Walking On The Faultlines (The Ultimate Step),' would be a great single. :D
  14. Big Brovaz are back with their new single 'Big Bro Thang,' which is the follow-up to last year's flop 'Hangin' Around.' I am hoping that they can maybe get some sucess from this as the 2 girls were Booty Luv and managed to get a big hit with 'Boogie 2Nite,' but personally I still don't think it's very likely. I think if the single doesn't chart well and 'Re-Entry,' which is the album flops that they will dis-band and maybe the boys will go on to a new project and the girls will carry on with Booty Luv. I hope this single does well though because I think they're much better as a 4 piece collective over just the girls on their own and 'Big Bro Thang,' definitley is the sort of the song to give them more sucess if any.
  15. Fair enough but seeing as Akon was supposedly one of the big creative brains behind the track it would be good to hear him have more input into the actual song. They seem to work well together though so I think it's likely they'll possibly even work on a song in the future that actually belongs to Akon where both artists share the vocals.
  16. Hopefully they can win both awards but if not I hope that Kasabian manage to win British Group. :D I do actually think they have a very good chance though seeing as a lot of the time the Brits winners seem to be what's been hyped the most.
  17. I realise that 'The Sweet Escape,' is supposed to be a collaboration with Akon but he doesn't actually say much apart from making a few noises.
  18. Nicky, is the remix on the 7 Inch good, I want to hear it as I've heard that The Mitchell Brothers appear on it. I might buy it if I see it just for that as I think it definitley sounds like an interesting collaboration. :D

Yesterday I commented that 'How To Save A Life,' seemed mediocre in the chart thread but I have been listening to it quite a bit since then and I really like it now. :D Definitley likely to be a #1 in the UK. :)
  20. 'Wind It Up,' was c**p compared to 'The Sweet Escape,' so hopefully it will do better, I think there's possibly a good chance of top 3 in the UK seeing as the album hasn't sold that much atm and it seems to be getting quite a bit of tv play.
  21. Keane aren't a very consistent band at all imo, they have some good songs but then also have some c**p ones. 'Bad Dream,' is a good single though but I can't see it having much chart sucess, for some reason Keane seem to have a fair bit of album sucess though.
  22. Alex will be joking. I wonder if he made that story up as a laugh as it's going to be a concept ghost album maybe?
  23. Brilliant, lets hope the posts keep up with the release of the 2nd album. :D
  24. Thanks for the replies. :)
  25. I haven't heard 'Kelis Was Here,' but I wasn't a big fan of 'Bossy,' and was very dissapointed as her previous album 'Tasty,' had proven what quality she could make. However, I think that 'Lil Star,' is a return to top form for Kelis and am now definitley considering buying the album. :D
