THE KILLERS 'INSPIRED BY THE HORRORS'
I don't actually like the idea of them copying other bands as it's better for a band to use their own individual ideas imo. However, it's not a major issue and it doesn't actually bother me.

THE KILLERS GLASTONBURY HOPES
I definitley think they will get offered a slot, they have been one of 2006's biggest bands. :D Infact maybe there's a possible chance of a headlining slot?

What Killers song are you listening right now??

Kerrang interview, no album till 2008 :o
I wonder whether the next album will be another concept album alike to 'American Idiot,' or they will try something completley different?

Eh?
I'm glad that we managed to get the forum but it's not letting me reply to topics in this forum for some reason.

Good To Be Gone Cancelled
Realistically I suppose 'Good To Be Gone,' could still chart with the new rules coming into place from tomorrow but it's not very likely seeing as it isn't been released as a single so therefore it will have no promo. The only way it could maybe chart imo is on a week of very low sales of people buying as it's the only track on Overloaded:The Singles Collection they don't have. I personally think for even that to happen they would have to perform on a very high viewed TV show for people to notice the track.

Snow Patrol to take on solo projects
Snow Patrol are currently at the peak of their career album sales wise and I don't see the point in them risking that with what could be a couple of c**p solo careers. Personally I think they should leave the solo careers until Snow Patrol have split-up as it makes more sense and atleast that way they don't have a band to risk.

LATEST: Blur to go into the studio in August!!!!
Definitley would like to hear this one final album to hear how much they have progressed musically during their departure as a whole and not just with their other projects.

Klaxons - Golden Skans
'Simian Mobile Disco,' is the one that I have heard the most about.

Snow Patrol to take on solo projects
Gary might manage a bit of sucess with slower songs as it's very radio-friendly but I don't want to hear an album full of that material, I want to hear them experimenting with their sound. I think Nathan is probably most likely to be the better solo musician, personally I would prefer it if they just started working on the next album as Snow Patrol though.

Good To Be Gone Cancelled
I think the latest Sugababes sound is brilliant. :D It's a shame 'Good To Be Gone,' isn't getting a release as it would have been my 2nd favourite Sugababes single. Apparently the 7'' story was just a rumour from Wikipedia and it's not true.

Arctic Monkeys In 2007
I think that the album will be #1 because of them being Arctic Monkeys, I think music press will bring on the backlash but I also think they will have a big fanbase.

Arctics To Team Up With...
I suppose that could be interesting but would rather be a new track as if it's c**p I don't want to think that a classic has been ruined. If Arctics were going to duet with a girl-group I would hope it would be Sugababes.
-
Klaxons - Golden Skans
I've never given a Klaxons remix a listen. I think I will if I get a chance as they're supposed to be very good.
-
Snow Patrol to take on solo projects
I just can't paticularly imagine Gary recording a song without Nathan as it's the guitar which personally makes them such a good band imo.

Arctics To Team Up With...
I didn't mean they should cover 'Walk This Way,' if that's what it sounds like as Sugababes and Girls Aloud are doing that for comic relief. I just meant it would be a similar concept as the Aerosmith + Run DMC collaboration. :) Personally if this was going to happen I would rather the non rap version be released and they could have the rap remix as a b-side incase it didn't work out. It will probably actually be more similar to The Streets and Pete Doherty's collaboration actually.

Mary Jane Shoes
'Mary Jane Shoes,' is by far the best track on 'The Dutchess.' Having said that I think 'The Dutchess,' is a fairly poor album.
-
The Dutchess! Your Thoughts??
I thought 'The Dutchess,' was okay when I first heard but each time I listened to it it seemed weaker. I think it's a poor album and Fergie needs to return to BEPs ASAP. But she may give 'Mary Jane Shoes,' a release first. :)

Will Next Year Rock?
I forgot that the new Hard-Fi and The Kooks albums are out next year, looking forward to hearing them. :D Will also be interesting to hear Mutya Buena's debut solo album. :D

Eyes Open - Billboard
It's great to see a british band with the quality of Snow Patrol to be selling well in America. :D

Snow Patrol to take on solo projects
I think they will struggle as solo artists as their music is good as a band, solo I think I would probably find their material slightly boring unless they're going to be releasing faster tracks.

What January release CD will have the highest debut sales
I hope Klaxons but I can't see them debuting at #1 unfortunatley, however if 'Golden Skans,' is a big hit then they could possibly. :D However, The Fratellis released 'Chelsea Dagger,' which was a big hit but 'Costello Music,' only reached #3.
