  1. I think The View are good but it's all personal opinion suppose, there's no doubt that their next album will be nowhere near as sucessful as 'Hats Off To The Busker.'
  2. This just proves though that just because a lot of artists might have a big sucess with one single it doesn't mean their follow-up will be just because of how hyped up they are, it makes me wonder whether The View's AA side of 'The Don/Skag Trendy,' will be anywhere near as sucessful as 'Same Jeans,' now as it's released in a few weeks isn't it?
  3. The only way they can probably turn this around is if they manage to create a song to the quality of 'Golden Skans,' on their next album and that song isn't really a true reflection on their actual sound, I wouldn't be too fussed about how sucessful they are just aslong as they don't get dropped or split-up and they carry on making music. :D
  4. I thought Klaxons had a promising career ahead of them but that's starting to seem less and less likely after how quick the album's fell and now where 'Gravity's Rainbow,' looks set to chart. I'm afraid to say that they could well end up as a one hit wonder.
  5. Personally I think Sugababes need to create something much more risk-taking because evidently they're not being very sucessful at the moment, however it's been rumoured that on their next album they're working with Jamie T & Akon to name a couple.
  6. Last year they seemed to be big fans of Arctic Monkeys and although they haven't began any backlash as such they don't pay quite as much as attention to them anymore which in some ways is a good thing as some people probably found it quite tiresome. They started off this year with a lot of focus on Klaxons but that will probably have gone now that 'Gravity's Rainbow,' is flopping.
  7. It would actually help if NME just put all news surrounding Arctic Monkeys on their website.
  8. Definitley. :D A lot of songs are kept as B-Sides for such reasons as them not being as high standard as tracks that actually do make the album but if they could possibly make these tracks better by adding some edgey production to it then that would be cool. :D Maybe work with a few other artists aswell. :D
  9. Nelly Furtado was actually the first artist really outside of Timbaland's usual genre to work with though so she didn't really jump on the bandwagon as such. It does make you wonder which artists are going to work with him in the future though, I mean Sugababes have already worked with Dallas Austin so would it be too over the top thinking that they could even do so? :o
  10. I went to have a look to see if I can find any news on the forum but it just seems to be pages of discussions about 'Favourite Worst Nightmare.'
  11. Exactly. From the sounds of things Arctic Monkeys always have a lot of left-over tracks from each album so it would be a good idea if in between 'Favourite Worst Nightmare,' and their next album that they maybe create a B-Sides album, it's been scuessful enough for Gwen Stefani. :D
  12. Not everyone should work with Timbaland because some artists are so c**p that he wouldn't be able to make them better, and Timbaland should have half of the decent artists and then the other half of decent artists can work with Dallas Austin. However that would also mean that Timbaland wouldn't be known for making massive hits anymore because if half of the stuff in the charts was created by him then that would mean that some artists would have to flop. Hopefully Arctic Monday will help 'Brianstorm,' sell well though. :D
  13. I would like to hope that Arctic Monkeys are #1 next week but I still think they'll struggle, either way though if Beyonce & Shakira don't get there next week wouldn't suprise me if they climbed the week after.
  14. I think Orson should work with Timbaland, infact I think Arctic Monkeys should work with him too even if it only be for just one song because that song with Fall Out Boy that he's made is quite outstanding, by rights it should be his next single but it's not. I actually want to hear them record it, would be very interesting.
  15. Well if you nip over to Arctic Monkeys offical site there's some news of some new gigs they're doing in other countries, I thought it would be a bit pointless posting it but you can do if you want.
  16. I'm shocked that they're releasing 'Brianstorm,' as an EP tbh but I suppose it's a bigger incentive for people to buy it as there are a fair few B-Sides on it. :D It's weird to think that it's only their 1st release from their 2nd album but their 3rd EP.
  17. Well 'Bright Idea,' wasn't terribly unsucessful but after that everything seemed to just go a bit downhill for them, I think they'll struggle to make another track up to the quality of 'No Tomorrow,' unless they can draft some top producers in. Somehow if that happened I don't think Alex would MC, he would probably just sing it. That could work actually as it would be like the band were trying to make the song their own by altering it slightly.
  18. I think that me and you should try and post in this forum as much as possible this week as every bit helps and with help from all the regulars who visit here then it should definitley get it climbing up the league table. :D

  20. :o A big flop for Klaxons, they're a great band but I am starting to think that they're not going to be as hugely sucessful as they were predicted when the album was released, this currently also means that 'Golden Skans,' could be a one hit wonder.
