'No Tomorrow,' was definitley the stand-out track on 'Bright Idea,' for them and although it wasn't a great album it wasn't paticularly bad either imo, hopefully they will maybe manage to put a few more brilliant tracks on their follow-up because if they don't their career lucks set to be over, infact it's probably in need of revival already after 'Already Over,' failed to reach the top 200. As for their cover version of 'Push The Button,' I don't think it was meant to be good, the point I was trying to get across was not that it was paticularly good in a good sense but quite good in a comical sense. :lol: I wonder if they'll cover something by Dizzee Rascal now that they've worked with him. ^_^

I still think Arctic Monkeys would be slightly dissapointed if 'Brianstorm,' didn't manage to go to #1 seeing as they probably feel they have preogressed with this album and songs from the previous album sold more, but either way I always thought that it was going to be a struggle to be as sucessful this time around. What are the chances of each single off this album being an EP if one already is? Also I think they might even release a download only single this time around after 'Brianstorm,' has reached #11 which imo is a very bad idea because that is only doing so well as it's a lead single, am still sure they'd much rather have the sucess with the album rather than the single though.

Next week and the following week will probably be the most active weeks in this forum until their 3rd album is released. :lol: Somehow I still can't see it beating it's current #4 peak though.

There's no doubt that 'Favourite Worst Nightmare,' will get to #1 though no matter what the competition is, I still don't think it will have such big opening sales as the previous album managed to recieve though. I think we just have to hope that 'Brianstorm,' can get to #1 based on the fact it's better than 'Leave Before The Lights Come On,' and had more hype surrounding it, well that added to a fairly big single buying fanbase too.

Starsailor (I think it was them) have already done a cover of 'Push The Button,' as have Orson, I definitley think Arctic's would be the only version to have a chance at rivaling the original despite Orson's being quite good in an hilarious way. :lol: Orson get critiscised a lot but personally I think their a good band, just not as good as Arctic Monkeys. :lol:

'Leave Before The Lights Came On,' was Arctic Monkeys 2nd EP and it was a non album track but I think it made #1 on physicals alone didn't it? Anyway there is much more hype surrounding 'Brianstorm,' which is also an EP making it their 3rd but only the 2nd of which has been eligible to chart. Personally I see them struggling for #1 and would be very happy with a top 3 placing but I think they might even find that slightly hard, a lot of people will probably hold out for the album.

Although usually british artists who have been in groups in the past aren't usually very suecessful I can see this being a different scenario for Mutya, for a start off she has big names such as Amy Winehouse and Groove Armada collaborating on her album which bodes very well for her. :D I think she is definitley going to gain an older demographic than Sugababes have though.

Thanks for that info about Arctic Monkeys Mikey. :D That's actually brilliant given that people never expected them to be sucessful on downloads and they've managed to prove them wrong.

Glad that Bloc Party appear to be selling fairly well. :D Had hoped for slightly higher for Fall Out Boy but given quite a big lack of airplay I'm not suprised that it isn't being too sucessful, does this mean that Arctic Monkeys have fallen out of the top 20 this week then? :o
