I listened to official 'planet premiere' of the songs: http://radio.disney.go.com/music/planet-pr...rain-album.html I found it enjoyable but nothing of epic proportions. Review... A YEAR WITHOUT RAIN+++ The album begins with lead 'Round & Round'. Catchy pop/dance fused sound but got old quickly thanks to it's repetitive lyrics. 'A Year Without Rain' is a slower and has a mature feel. The lyrics are better, sung along to a charming beat. 'Rock God', stomping beat and contains backing vocals from Katy Perry. Had potential to be great but falls flat. 'Off The Chain' returns to a sound we've heard on her 1st album - it's good, but not great. I like the energy however the lyrics and vocals don't thrill. 'Summer Not Hot' is fun and fast-paced but doesn't engage me like 'A Year Without Rain'. Good production. 'Intuition' has a similar sound to that of 'Popular' by Veronicas. This comparison is battle Selena doesn't win, but the male addition works well enough. 'Spotlight' - this sounds like a familiar artist close to Selena, oh yes, the Cyrus as Hanney Montaney (particularly the chorus). That said, I actually enjoy it because of the picked up dynamic come the chorus and the breakdown which gives the song more substance. 'Ghost of You' show off her improved vocals and was a needed break from the dance and fast-paced songs. 'Sick of You', good production and one of the more appealing songs on the album, enjoyable but not outstanding. It wasn't love on first listen for 'Live Like There's No Tomorrow', but I like it more now and it contains a nice bridge with a sing-a-long chorus. Rating: *** Highlight: 'A Year Without Rain'

It's alright ^_^. I'm glad he's done what Alexandra did and released an upbeat lead instead of them typical/predictable ballad's.

+5 · Katy Perry · 'Teenage Dream' +4 · Usher Feat. Pitbull · 'DJ Got Us Fallin' In Love' +3 · Taio Cruz · 'Dynamite' +2 · Flo Rida Feat. I think it'll chart around #12. I would obviously like it be #1, though it's not her best at all.

Not a great result for me but never mind ^__^. Can we do Bruno this week too as he's out for download? And I've already started a cover for Him.

5 Alexandra Burke Feat. Laza Morgan Start Without You 4 Iyaz So Big 3 Tinie Tempah Feat. Labrinth Frisky 2 Mark Ronson & Business International Bang Bang Bang 1 Tinie Tempah Pass Out I don't hate SWY that much, but it's #1 for a 2nd week and I find the chorus horrendous.

19/09:

I know... sounds like a reject song that didn't make it onto the album. She doesn't seem fully committed to this music thing so I couldn't see a re-release happening right now.

^ I didn't, but I can imagine how it went with the 'I don't give a dam' attitude she's trying to portray :P.

I see! That chart is bizarre with it's odd rules :P.

I voted: Tinie Tempah feat. Eric Turner - Written In The Stars [ 97 ] [33.80%] Robbie Williams and Gary Barlow - Shame [ 111 ] [31.81%] Bruno Mars - Just The Way You Are [ 78 ] [22.35%] Joe McElderry - Somebody [ 104 ] [26.33%] Kings Of Leon - Radioactive [ 89 ] [22.53%]

Go Nick at #31! Hope it stays for big top 40 :kink:. Alexandra still #1 :drama:, I didn't think it would get 1 week tbh. When is Bruno out?- they should release it at midnight given the impact it's having already...

P - 10 R I H M N J E L O - 1

Thanks both B).
