Was just listening to Somebody Else's Life acoustic and it reminded me of how much I love it! Which version does everyone prefer? For me it's definitely the acoustic, on the studio version the production is awful and Vanessa sounds awful on some parts.

I just wanted to see what everyone's views were on this debate. Me personally, it is my number 1 gripe with The Saturdays/their management. Let's start with Wordshaker, yes Forever Is Over was a bad choice for the lead single, however I do not think it should have been abandoned completely. Once Ego was released the album started to climb up the charts again and it probably would have done the same if they should released One Shot and Here Standing as the final singles, which I'm sure would have pushed the album well over 100k, and then re-released it, with all the songs from Headlines and had two further successful singles (Higher, Missing You). I know Headlines was a success, but it would have looked way better to push Wordshaker's sales higher than abandon the campaign completely. Now, On Your Radar, which I do believe was the worse move. The album had flopped which was obvious yes, however, it really should have been released off the back of AFU and It may have charted higher and performed better. Anyway, they had LOTS of single potential from that album (Faster, The Way You Watch Me, Get Ready, Get Set) which were all screaming to become singles and would have probably performed well, If they had released one of these it would have performed way better than '30 Days' did and they would have saved money as they wouldn't had have to record a brand new song. Wordshaker - 85k On Your Radar - 60k I do think if given more of a push these albums would have both crossed 100/150k. :( Sad really, I hope LFTW doesn't head in the same direction, What are your thoughts?

Duke Dumont - Need U (100%) was certified Gold, and it's predicted sales were 396,000+ which means The Sats who are on 386,000 could be possibly past 390,000?

This sounds silly but do you guys think the tracklisting order has any bearings on possible singles? I mean I find it highly unlikely they would make something like track 11 a single. Maybe it's just me though, but all the strongest tracks are on the first half of the album.

I would want 'Lease My Love' then 'Not Giving Up' as the next two singles, but I can't see Lease My Love doing that well and think Leave A Light On would do better. Although this is 'technically' single 5 and 6 we're talking about, I'd imagine that most people including themselves forget about 30 Days being even part of this era tbh and they probably tacked it on to the album so it belonged somewhere in their discography. I also do not understand why they move on from albums so quickly, they might as well release 1 or two more singles to milk the album for all it's worth.

Loving 'Lease My Love' but I really don't think it would work as a single! Leave A Light On and Not Giving Up would be the better choices probably. If they are going to release 'Leave My Light On' do it in January, look how well Issues and Ego done then.

We were all so wrong about this single, so happy to see it doing well so far!

I really hope this album does well for them, their previous opening sales for their albums are 22k for Chasing Lights and Headlines, 18k for On Your Radar and 15k for Wordshaker, going by this they could be within a shot of low top ten. It's so hard to predict how this album will do. With all the flops they always manage to somehow bounce back, Disco Love's performance so far is encouraging though. I'm hoping a top ten position for this.

If this manages to stick around for a while this might do pretty well! Unexpected to say the least. Radio support seems to be picking up, the success of this is baffling though! Not because of the quality of the song, because of the hype. It has barely decreased on iTunes compared to every other single they have had, bar WAU. I mean compare it to the push Missing You got and it still started to drop midweek on iTunes.

Personal highlights are 'Not Giving Up', 'Lease My Love', 'Leave a Light On'! '30 Days' is good but sounds pretty out of place, probably because it's pretty old to us now. So annoyed with 'Somebody Else's Life' the lyrics are really nice and the acoustic is amazing, but the production on this isn't the best, especially Mollie and Frankie's parts, and Vanessa also sounds so screechy on it. :mellow: Problem with Love is alright, nothing amazing. 'You Don't Have The Right' is stunning! Wouldn't say it's worthy of being a single but it is a really lovely album track. Potential singles: Not Giving Up, Lease My Love, Leave A Light On, Anywhere With You The not so good: Don't Let Me Dance Alone, Problem With Love, Somebody Else's Life Leave a Light On and Not Giving Up should be the final two singles in my opinion.
