I didn't mind Amy and Charlotte really. As I said before, unlike Lily they at least they had half decent singing voices to go with their bitchy comments.

It's probably yet another publicity stunt. She has got a lot of attention like Charlotte Church and Amy Winehouse did for slagging off everything under the sun, and long defunct rubbish cheesy dancing miming pop acts are an easy target that won't really answer back as they have no reason to get themselves in the media any more.

Considering S Club 7 have been gone for three years and Steps for five years, what's the point in moaning about them anyway? They're long gone and I highly doubt they'll be back. They're almost as much a thing of the past as T-Rex and the Clash are. With that sort of 'manufactured' all singing-all dancing pop group we only really have Girls Aloud, the Sugababes and possibly McFly, and she isn't slagging them off.

The saddest thing about her is for all her 'chav'/street pretensions, her father Keith Allen is a comedian who made that not exactly flattering documentry about Michael Carroll: King Of The Chavs and her mother Allison Owen is a film producer. I agree she does have a mediocre voice though. She isn't anything special given all the hype. She's just another 'gobby cow' who slags everyone off like Charlotte Church and Amy Winehouse, although at least they were both pretty good vocally.

I don't like Michael so I voted him.

I also think Aisleyne could be a contender. I'd say it's between her and the three listed here. I want Pete to win, and at the moment I think he will. Nikki will do well if she doesn't get put up for eviction many more times. Glyn will slip under the radar and get a lot of votes from the sort of people who voted for Cameron to win.

Good episode. The Daleks appearing at the end was the best part. Next weeks episode looks even better.

Jayne will definitely go into the house first. Aisleyne clearly doesn't like her, and Jayne doesn't seem to like Aisleyne either. Plus she is probably annoying the others more. She'll either 'save' Jonathan, because she probably fancies him, or Mike. I hope she saves Mike and he doesn't get to go in the house, he's really irritating so far.

The newbies aren't bad. Kind of generic really. I wonder what they'll be like when they get in the house? There'll be a few new alligences formed I think... Micheal and that Irish rapper guy seem annoying, but the others seem inoffensive enough so far.

Or maybe The Coral could cover Razorlight's In The Morning. They'd probably make it better. Razorlight's best song to date is Golden Touch. I don't think they've bettered that yet.

I remember those days of CD:UK very well. JJ72 for me were an antidote to all the $h!tty cheesy pop that was around at the time. I loved October Swimmer in particular, still listen to that a lot now and their debut album was fantastic. I didn't think much of second album I To The Sky, but I was still looking forward to their third album. Not surprised they've split though, it seems to have been on the cards for a while.

I don't know how that bloke in The Kooks managed to shag Katie Melua. She seems way out of his league. Anyway, I kind of think The Kooks are a bit overrated. They're not bad as such, but I've no idea how they have become so successful. They are nothing special really. But good for them for doing so well.

America's popular music scene in general does seem very depressing. There is so little variety, nearly every rock band that gets airplay in the US sounds the same and every urban act does as well. I don't really agree with Brandon though.

I remember about 10 years ago in a newspaper some journalist did a list of characters he'd like to see killed off in Corrie, and Betty was one of them. I remember it said ''I'm sure she had a point at one time, but now she exists only to make hotpots and Les Dawson faces behind the bar''. :lol: I quite like Betty myself, although it is ludicrous even by Corrie standards that she is still behind a bar when she's in her 80s. David Platt is really irritating. Hideous little brat. Same goes for Amber, she's an annoying chav. Though neither are quite as bad as Dev and that awful way he shouts words out mid-sentence, or Gail with her turtle face.

Muse would be number one! :o Not sure what I feel about that actually. I'd love Muse to get a number one single, but I'm not all that keen on Supermassive Black Hole. I make no bones about supporting the combined chart over the physicals only one any day, but it has to be said with Liberty X, Editors and Keisha White's chart positions it really can push singles far down at the lower end of the top 40.

I'll be buying the Kooks next week I think.

I agree with the general opinion on here. It wasn't that great a game or a performance from England, but they won so no real complaints.

I agree with the opinion that Ladder In My Tights should have been the fourth single. I remember listening to the album thinking that should be the next single.

Another filler episode. Pretty boring and rubbish really, and none of the various plot threads (Olympics, evil dead dad, child's drawings, lost alien) seemed to go together. It was more 'well made' than some of the more stronger plotted episodes this series were though. Next week's episode looks great though! It'll be a two-parter though won't it? So maybe Rose won't die till a couple of weeks?
