Televoting killed Malta!

Portugal changes a lot... been in 42 ESC and no wins. Chiara's time on ESC is over .. u said... but it is not. She will try again until she wins! Hope no foreign composer will write any song for Malta.

But dont u think that they get over 20 points (not to exxegerate) from neighbours? This would be about 20 les points and they would have been knocked off first place. Nearly everyone has neighbours so that would do same but few countries are neighbourless or only have 1 neighbour such as Malta, Ireland, Portugal, cyprus

an Sms or call costed EUR 0.70 (70 euro cents!!) so i voted none I would have voted Ukraine twice, Iceland and Azerbaijan

Norway and Iceland didn't get their placing because of the neighbouring. Though they could have gotten less points , but u cant say that they dont have neighbours: (Where they got 12 they could have gotten 10 from a neighbour or less) The group that gives lots of points to each other is : Norway,Iceland,Denmark,Estonia,Finland and Sweden Where Finland got 16 out of 22 points from these countries and Sweden got 25 of 33 This was an advantage for the semi-final 2 contestants cos ppl recognize more the songs because it had only been 2 days! Though performances from the first semi-final were not so fresh so it seems like u see it first time. This is a big disadvantage for the Big 4 , but the Big 4 will not qualify 99.9% of the times if they had to be in the semi-finals :rofl:

In 2002 we did not win for 12 points (if i remember well) and we didn't have crap (though the winners (Latvia) had) And in 1998 Chiara was still fresh cos it was her first time. I know she wasn't the best (obv) but she deserved at least 5 places higher. Wish the true results were more like this.. Ukraine and Finland both should have gotten a better place in the real ESC. Thoguh in this I excpected Azerbaijan better off!

Malta,Spain And who exceeded your expectations on the final leaderboard? UK,Greece I forgot these! Who did you think placed unfairly or surprisingly low? Ireland,Ulraine, Sweden though disappointing performance, it still deserved better,

In 2002 It was not Chiara but Ira Losco... stupid moron! And anyways, how can we win when we had to win 2 times and due to unfairness we did not! We do not have any chance due to Neighbours and diaspora! And except for Chiara, we have noone good that tries to enter ESC ...

Well even in the simulator the order of the voting Azerbaijan was last.. What happened?

ur wrong. Cyprus gave 12 to Greece! and 0 to Turkey! Iceland should have won though!

Malta should quit ESC. Fairly : Malta should have won 2 ESC which are 2002 and 1998!

I Studied the votes a lot.. seeing some neighbouring and Malta shoul have gotten at least the 17th place. If Belgium gave points in the same way in the final (not only belgium but lots of more countries) Malta ould have gotten 10th place easily. Israel got less points from Belgium in the semi-final than Armenia, Iceland, Sweden, Portugal and Malta but votes changed and some countries went up and some went down (same performance though)

My top 4 were : Ukraine, finland, Ireland & Malta which all get a place which they didnt deserve!

Where can we see the points in the semi-finals? PM me when u know!

I would say lithuania cos it sucks.

Some of the countries said 12 points to our neighbours XX Moldova got 2 douze points ... they got neighbours! (Same Croatia) :puke::puke2: Neighbourvision must be the contest's name!

Norway sucks but it still wins... Well.. Eurovision has officially Failed! Ukraine and Sweden and Malta got few points!! (they should have gotten more! ) --> They were predicted for the top 10 i reckon! Also -- The last country was... Finland, with got 8 points from a Scandinavian country! ( and i think lots of the other points are scandinavian too) Malta should have gotten at least 50 points but Malta got no neighbours! Malta should quit cos Eurovision sucks and Malta can never win ESC because of neighbours!

Anyway... are Israel part of Europe. I hate it when it is called EUROvision and non-Euro contries take part... If non - Euro countries will participate it will become a World Song Contnest!

I say Portugal or Israel... Malta might be cos Chiara said that she calculated that due to neighbours about 8 countries were sure to pass.. so there were 2 places left and she was confident enough that the song will get that!

I predict these qualifiers : Norway (though I dont like it) Azerbaijan Ukraine (Hot performance i expect) Ireland -- Love it Greece -- Sakis Rouvas is famous Denmark Estonia Poland -- Good ballad ( not so many ballads in the semi-final) Hungary -- Not bad Serbia they say but i prefer cyprus

It was such a great performance from Switzerland that It went up my chart! Macedonia is not bad, they had a chance for qualification... Montenegro is a good song but a shady performance. The dancer is not liked, I always say that they should have made more dancers ! (with different dancing else it would be a shaking song!)

If you say Ireland is not able to host because of money... then what about Malta? Lot's of debts!! There is a rumor that in 1998 Chiara came third because the last country didn't vote for her..... Malta is financially bad and therefore they made an agreement not to win... We will still host the ESC if we won, but we do not have a big space to host an ESC, so therefore it would be a smaller stage than this year! If Ireland where to withdraw when they won the most contests , that would be a great scandal for the ESC

Do not be glad cos u do not depend on how good Jade's performance is but how bad and early the others are! That means you got nothing to be proud of!! :rofl: but sorry! I want Poland to get to finals TBH as it is a good ballad but cannot be compared to the other ballads such as UK, Iceland and Malta which are far better! Israel deserve to sing at the 2nd place lol since it was really unexpected for them to pass! That was a great shock... and half of yesterday's performances were awful, lots of bad singing , probably excitement or emotions! Turkey : Awful singing... (I think she is a little sick) Finland: Females WTF?? (hopeless disaster XD) Bulgaria : Pretended the vocalists better Malta : Not so good start, but great finishing (except that the camera didn't get her ending, ( she would wink).. and they will not change it :( --> She said she was emotional BEFORE the contest begun Belgium: Was far worst than I imagined!

It is a nice and good song. It will make it through the finals 100% and I wish she will end up in the top 10 in the finals.. I really liked it!
