oof

Would the Thursday stream calculation algorithm artificially boost Christmas songs due to such high Christmas Day streams?

what is this mess

Most of these people probably just see an article on Facebook about it and don't really care about any of it - they just pay 99p for a charity single and think they've 'done their bit' lol.

30 of you already wrong :o

no one does - stream This Christmas!

jess for xmas #1 :cheeseblock:

OMG COME THRU ALEXA GLYNNE

I couldn't even be mad about Need U 100% beating it because I love that song so much. But yeah I think they played a Newsbeat clip about it instead.

Kylie release week IS more important than Christmas.

Confide In Me was incredibly close to being one of my 11's.

He could easily put out a tweet saying that they are neck and neck with Mariah (even though they won't be) and people aren't going to check.

Very true I forgot about that! However there's quite a lot of competition this week as well so I guess we'll have to wait to see if they've got anything up their sleeves to push for sales later in the week.

I think if Captain Tom could do 80k+ in April, This can easily clear 110k especially considering the increase in sales from 2018 to 2019. At least I'm hoping this can be the 100k+ selling mega smash 2020 needs.

Just heard this in Asda! Was very pleasantly surprised. Hear Kylie quite a lot in there but mostly her 2000s stuff. Asda FM stays the superior radio station. Get that promo :D

Yeah I know it was for a good cause and whatnot but YNWA is unlistenable. In hindsight I should have given that horrendous PYRO cover more points.

Mariah will still be #1 for most of Christmas Day itself so I'll take that.

delete

true she will be coming for Madonna's crown by 2023 :D
