  1. Semi 1 Safe Croatia: Baby Lasagna - Rim Tim Tagi Dim Ukraine: Alyona Alyona and Jerry Heil - Teresa & Maria Lithuania: Silvester Belt - Luktelk Likely in Poland: Luna - The Tower Luxembourg: Tali - Fighter Finland: Windows95man - No Rules! Cyprus: Silia Kapsis - Liar Borderline in Ireland: Bambie Thug - Doomsday Blue Portugal: Iolanda - Grito Slovenia: Raiven - Veronika -- Borderline out Serbia: Teya Dora - Ramonda Unlikely Iceland: Hera Björk - Scared of Heights Australia: Electric Fields - One Milkali (One Blood) Dead on arrival Moldova: Natalia Barbu - In the Middle Azerbaijan: Fahree feat. Ilkin Dovlatov - Özünlə apar I'm pretty confident that it's eleven songs fighting for ten spots in the first semi-final really. Azerbaijan makes no impact and Moldova is so dull that I think no amount of staging can save this song, I think they're both chanceless. Australia is the kind of thing that I think appeals to fans more than the general public, and even the fans don't seem to be that on board with this song, but they can do really good staging which I think could help them sneak in given they've got a good spot in the running order. Iceland seems to be one of the least favourites across the board, but Hera is a great performer which is why I don't think it's DOA. Then again, it is directly after Croatia... Bambie Thug has had a brilliant reaction from pre-party performances which I'm hoping is enough to see Ireland in, of course the song massively stands out as well. There's definitely not room for all of Portugal, Serbia and Slovenia so I'm basing this entirely off running order. Semi 2 Safe Switzerland: Nemo - The Code Netherlands: Joost Klein - Europapa Belgium: Mustii - Before the Party's Over Austria: Kaleen - We Will Rave Greece: Marina Satti - Zari Likely in Norway: Gåte - Ulveham Israel: Eden Golan - Hurricane Georgia: Nutsa Buzaladze - Firefighter Borderline in Armenia: Ladaniva - Jako Denmark: Saba - Sand -- Borderline out Albania: Besa - Titan Estonia: 5miinust and Puuluup - (Nendest) narkootikumidest ei tea me (küll) midagi Unlikely Czechia: Aiko - Pedestal Malta: Sarah Bonnici - Loop Latvia: Dons - Hollow Dead on arrival San Marino: Megara - 11:11 San Marino is the only one here that would be a real shock if it qualified, but sadly I think Latvia will be extending the NQ streak as the fans don't seem that enthused and I think it would do better with juries. Malta I think is very unlikely, but she's a good performer and opening a semi-final isn't a bad slot, so if she really slays the choreography, maybe. Czechia maybe should be dead given they're between Switzerland and Austria, but I've heard that the vocals have improved and I think it's a decent song, so I don't think it's quite DOA. Estonia I think is too noisy and anyone looking for a fun entry isn't finding it with Estonia will probably be voting for the Netherlands instead. Albania sweetie, I think you took yourselves out with the revamp.
  2. We have all the songs, the running orders and some pre-party performances to go off, so I think it's about time we have a predictions thread! Here's the leaderboard after six sets of votes, I'm pleasantly surprised to see Croatia leading even though they're amongst the first set of voters, helps that they snubbed Italy but also they've been top 3 for everyone else... 52 Croatia: Baby Lasagna - Rim Tim Tagi Dim 47 Belgium: Mustii - Before the Party's Over 46 Italy: Angelina Mango - La noia 45 Switzerland: Nemo - The Code 33 Austria: Kaleen - We Will Rave 18 Lithuania: Silvester Belt - Luktelk 17 France: Slimane - Mon amour 12 Ukraine: Alyona Alyona & Jerry Heil - Teresa & Maria 12 Greece: Marina Satti - Zari 10 Spain: Nebulossa - Zorra 10 Netherlands: Joost Klein - Europapa 10 Sweden: Marcus & Martinus - Unforgettable 09 Israel: Eden Golan - Hurricane 07 United Kingdom: Olly Alexander - Dizzy 06 Slovenia: Raiven - Veronika 05 Luxembourg: Tali - Fighter 04 Cyprus: Silia Kapsis - Liar 03 Norway: Gåte - Ulveham 01 Azerbaijan: Fahree feat. 6. Scheduled for a Valentine's Day 2025 release in the US, Hugh Grant is BACK, Colin Firth is OUT and Leo Woodall ("The White Lotus" and "One Day") is joining the cast, rumoured to be the new love interest for a widowed Bridget. There hasn't been a dud in this series so far and the last movie was one of my favourites of 2016 (back at a time when I was going to the cinema about one hundred times a year), so my excitement for this is high!

Switzerland, Belgium and Austria are stan countries across both years for me, the latter two were especially hard to pick between. Sweden too, realistically I think "Tattoo" is the better song, but Marcus & Martinus are my boys. Spain, Ukraine and Croatia are massive upgrades this year. Moldova, Norway and Azerbaijan are my biggest downgrades.

  9. Christina and One Direction for me, two brilliant songs that are highlights of their respective discographies. I enjoy James Blunt, Sean Kingston, Labrinth, Benson, but I'd rate Christina and 1D as both 10/10 songs so I'm limiting myself to those two.

Raj getting fired the first time she's lost a task, Phil still being there :cheeseblock: I feel like I'm rooting for him now, he must be sitting on a really good business plan surely...
  12. For me this is the best female uptempo of the year - they BETTER be qualifying this time
  13. J❄️hq posted a post in a topic in Sports and Fitness
What a fairytale for her, the biggest title of her career, in her home state, achieved before she hangs up the racket. Once she got to the semi-finals, I could see her taking it as it will continue a pattern of Miami not having a defending women's champion in the draw into a fourth year

Noor saying she knows exactly who she's going to bring back into the boardroom, to then get fired without even being asked to bring anyone back - iconic!

The yearly OGAE fan poll is in progress, and just like they were with their entry, France are the first to reveal 12 Belgium: Mustii - Before the Party's Over 10 Croatia: Baby Lasagna - Rim Tim Tagi Dim 08 Switzerland: Nemo - The Code 07 Austria: Kaleen - We Will Rave 06 Italy: Angelina Mango - La noia 05 Spain: Nebulossa - Zorra 04 Netherlands: Joost Klein - Europapa 03 Ukraine: Alyona Alyona and Jerry Heil - Teresa & Maria 02 Lithuania: Silvester Belt - Luktelk 01 Israel: Eden Golan - Hurricane They've published a full breakdown, and the UK just missed out in 11th.

It was nice to see a task where the losing team didn't seem to do too badly (as evidenced by the firing coming down to track record rather than anything specifically going wrong on this task), I think a wine tour is always going to be easier to make money on and I assume they wouldn't have been able to go with the same tour. A few seem decent...Flo, Steve, Paul, Tre. The one who swapped teams last minute in the latest episode needs to go, did she do anything aside from that?
  17. It was great fun even though the best bits probably were in the trailer that I'd seen every single time I'd been to the cinema for about the past three months. I'm not normally one for seeing twists coming, but it did cross my mind very early on that
  18. It was funny how once the score for Froken Snusk came in and she was somehow out after the tie-break, everyone just knew in that instant that this format would never be seen again. I'd have been happy with Froken and "Light", because my favourites were Elisa and Albin and well, they were nowhere near :P Rooting for Marcus & Martinus to win as I've been a fan for around a decade so it would be amazing to see them at Eurovision, but it would be a shame that Europe wouldn't be seeing "Air" which I think is the stronger song. "Effortless" is my favourite track and I think would do the best for Sweden, it would be amazing to see them go for it and not be so predictable. Medina would be a really fun home entry too and for me it's on a very similar level to their previous entry.

Fantastic for Katie, now the #1 in British tennis, ahead of Norrie. How cute for her and Alex De Minaur to both win titles the same weekend.
  20. J❄️hq posted a post in a topic in Sports and Fitness
They both made it to the semi-finals :cheer: Draper went out to defending champion De Minaur, with Katie Boulter to play today, and she's already secured a new career high inside the top 40.
  21. Took a couple of listens to digest and now yep, this is excellent.

I would like Andy's swan song to be either at Wimbledon or the US Open really, so I hope he would keep going until the latter if he does the Olympics this year. I know he's won gold a couple of times, but it's not exactly the pinnacle of tennis. Katie Boulter and Jack Draper are both through to quarter-finals, of San Diego and Acapulco respectively. Hopefully at least one can make it further.
  23. Ireland and Ukraine being in the semi is why we don't need to fear for it's chances :kink:
  24. IhvDkF9XZx0 Luna has been selected! Excellent choice, sounds very modern and stuck in my head after one listen.
  25. Shocked that Sweden voted for a Melfest newcomer, and a woman, to win the heat. I guess the song just has that power, being by far the best in the contest so far :cheeseblock: Clara and Klaudy should've been the other way round and then the results would've been acceptable. Gunilla I can take or leave, I liked it more than the clip and 4th feels right amongst these songs.
