Slovenia · Eurovision Song Contest 2023
This is very solid and I think they do a great job of selling it, I think strength of the live performance will see it into the final. The most interested I've been in Slovenia since "Hvala, ne", and this keeps growing with each listen so I may come to prefer it quite quickly.

Ireland (Eurosong) · Eurovision Song Contest 2023
This was my favourite in the selection. Pretty generic, but I think it's a song that will sound better in a big arena so I don't think they're totally without chance of making the final (in the smaller semi-final too).

Norway (Melodi Grand Prix) · Eurovision Song Contest 2023
I'm sad for Ulrikke, but this is still comfortably my favourite entry chosen so far this year, and will likely be round about my top 5 once everything is chosen.

Spain (Benidorm Fest) · Eurovision Song Contest 2023
Spain came top 3, only to return straight back to the bottom 3 x There is no other way to describe this other than very noisy. They saw France fail last year and said "yes, I want some of that".

'A Man Called Otto' | January 2023 (UK)
I have never been on the verge of tears so much at a movie. The flashback scenes to young Otto were so good, I honestly don't know how I held myself together during the sequence where "This Woman's Work" was playing in the background.

Felt so bad for Rune the way that match ended. Garcia out, Pegula has to be the favourite now but think I'm here for Rybakina to win a Slam and have the ranking points to show for it

Excellent for the UK, I had it on in the background all day :magic: The longest match of his career! Two five set epics won in a row!!!

Belgium (Eurosong) · Eurovision Song Contest 2023
This is actually my jam tbh. Let's be real, Gustaph is all of us in 20-30 years time and here he is delivering the best Belgian entry since Blanche.

Your first mobile phone
This Sony Ericsson which Google tells me was a W610i. Can't remember exactly what age I got it but it was definitely secondary school before my parents thought there was any need for me to have a phone. I had that until November 2014, can't believe I was 18 and a couple of months into my working life before deciding to upgrade to a smartphone!! (And even that it was EE own-brand, cheapest thing I could find)

Neopets
Omg. I remember sneaking into an 18+ guild when I was under 18, I think the age on my account was set older than I was as you had to be at least 13 I think for certain features but I joined up when I was like 10 or 11. Refreshing the money tree only for it to always be shit items!! The goal of getting as much coin as you could to buy the best paintbrushes to use on your pets

Finland (UMK) · Eurovision Song Contest 2023
rNrgQm5z07U Are you team first half or second half? That is extremely catchy, can't even be mad if it beats Benjamin although I'd still love him to win due to wanting him and Robin in UMK for years.

Belgium (Eurosong) · Eurovision Song Contest 2023
Chérine and Loredana were my favourites, so given they weren't close to winning in the end, I'm finding it hilarious how wrong this went and how The Starlings were beaten by one point.

Norway (Melodi Grand Prix) · Eurovision Song Contest 2023
Queen of Kings and Honestly were the two good songs from last night, so glad they're both through. Didn't care for a third qualifier, but happy it's not JOWST... leave Eurovision alone, go get a job

Estonia (Eesti Laul) · Eurovision Song Contest 2023
Ollie and the Bedwetters were the standouts for me in the first semi, so pleased to see both of them through. I do think the best songs overall are tonight though.

Miley Cyrus - Endless Summer Vacation
It's more than just one line, the entire chorus is pretty much a flip of Bruno's lyrics. Finding this a bit limp tbh, was hoping for something better.

And now Khachanov too I hope Nadal-Draper is likely to be a night session? Because for me, that is the first round match to watch.

The Circle US • Series 4
I think I've seen seven episodes now (after not bothering with season 4 after the first batch) and going to stick with it, think there are some great personalities in there! Love those mentioned above, also really like Tom and find Marvin quite funny . Brett is a lot more tolerable on this than he was on Big Brother, and Shooby is so rubbish playing a catfish bless him.

If they choose anything other than Ulrikke, Norway are cancelled.

Australian Open going to be without the #1 ranked men's player again, as Carlos Alcaraz has withdrawn due to injury. Bit up in the air for Raducanu too as she had to retire from a match yet again, at the warm-up tournament in Auckland. :( Idk, am I actually here for Djokovic to come back fighting at AO? Nadal doesn't seem to be in a position to win it again, he started the season by losing his first couple of matches.

The Traitors US • Series 3
Hoping it will be available on Now TV which gets some Peacock content, but I feel like there's often a delay rather than the shows being available at the same time as the US? (just basing this from two seasons of "Girls5eva", no idea aside from that really) Can't wait for Rachel, hope she doesn't get banished or murdered straight away but I feel like she could be due to how loud she is. Traitors better grab a life vest!

I Wanna Dance With Somebody • Whitney Biopic
I thought this was fine, didn't feel like it dragged despite being almost two and a half hours, but didn't think it went that deep and it was just reeling off the moments in her life/career. No need to watch it again and not awards worthy, but don't feel like I wasted my time by going to see it.

Great to see Britain the first locked in qualifier in the United Cup, wasn't expecting it going into the tournament but I think there was a bit of luck with the late withdrawals of Kyrgios and Carreno Busta. Looking forward to the Netflix show "Break Point" starting in a couple of weeks just before the Australian Open!

Albania (Festivali i Këngës) · Eurovision Song Contest 2023
I think this is fabulous, and the best of what I heard in FiK this year (watched the first night in full, and then the first hour of the second night). Hope it's a qualifier, to me it sounds like something that could aim for mid-table in the final, I think it's really nice having all the family involved.
