  1. Hmm. I prefer it to KRUTb actually, and I'm happy that they've gone with something a bit more upbeat and a song that I'm struggling to see as a Eurovision winner. But I'm not crazy on the song either. My favourite two were last and second last with the jury :D
  2. I didn't think the French entry was up to their usual Junior standard so an underwhelming winner for me, but so pleased for Ireland, and nice that it wasn't just a foregone conclusion for Ukraine at all. Scrap the juries!!! (Except the Ukrainian one)
  3. Very happy with Jon Henrik and Theoz among the confirmed returnees! They're changing the format of AC again. No groups or duels at all, it'll simply be the top 4 songs from the entire eight that go through.
  4. Excited to see Jerry Heil back!
  5. 8 please!
  6. -p_L-vr3Mdc "Qami Qami" vibes with the maturity. What an excellent return for the UK, we could be tasked with a double hosting job next year.
  7. Have my tickets for the final again and ready to see a Marcus & Martinus victory x
  8. Cyprus have chosen to send Andrew Lambrou to Liverpool, some people may know him from taking part in Australia Decides at the start of this year. KkCaeJorzs4 Hoping for something better than this, I do have pretty good faith in Cyprus bringing it!
  9. Cyprus 2023 Andrew Lambrou Break a Broken Heart YQG9YH2nCJw
  10. The normally pretty accurate rumour mill has started up, and the first names floating around are Loulou from The Mamas, and Wiktoria hoping to make it fourth time lucky.
  11. Sweden 2023 Loreen Tattoo b3vJfR81xO0
  12. Such a shame but Bulgaria always feel like a risk with them relying on people to finance the participation (and if it's only going to be acts like Intelligent Music Project, rather them be out tbh), Montenegro too. Surprising that this is the first time Macedonia have pulled out. Hope Czech Republic stay in, they're on such a good run of entries.
  13. A major city that has a large arena and an international airport? Thrilled for Liverpool, they showed such passion during this process and I'm sure they will do a wonderful job of hosting on behalf of Ukraine. Happy about the dates too, and that the semi-finals will be broadcast on BBC One!!!
  14. Depending on the dates for Eurovision, I'm not sure Olly's Glasgow date on 21st April is safe of a clash either really given the number of weeks needed for stage construction and rehearsals. They've probably put the Glasgow and Liverpool dates at the start and end of his tour on purpose in case they need to be flipped  Hoping for an early or mid May contest, feels like years since we've had one at the very end of the month? (From doing a Google, 27th May would be the latest the final has been since 1999)
  15. Roar I Kissed a Girl California Gurls Never Really Over Chained to the Rhythm The people putting Roar last, I can't
  16. Been really looking forward to this since seeing it promoted on Big Brother US!
  17. The shortlist has been whittled down to Glasgow or Liverpool. Throwing my support behind Liverpool now!
  18. A hit! I'm pleased this is performing well because I don't think it's worthy of such bad reviews and think some of that negativity comes down to some of the controversies and publicity around the movie. It had me gripped from start to end, so intriguing and I was satisfied with how it wrapped up and how much was explained. Probably not one for a re-watch due to the nature of the movie and already knowing what the twists are, but for me it's a solid 8, pushing to a 9/10. I do find it amusing how in one weekend in the UK, it's already grossed more than Olivia Wilde's previous movie, "Booksmart", took in it's entire run, and that holds a 96% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes based on over 300 reviews  I'd say I got more overall enjoyment out of this one tbh.
  19. I saw Sody live last night as the warm-up for Sam Ryder, and "Bitch (I Said It)" went OFF! Just came to check whether it had been in the contest as I would've been tempted to send it myself, can't believe it was a NQ!

Raducanu has managed to win three matches in a row for the first time since the US Open 2021, by reaching the semi-finals of the Korea Open.

So we've ended up with the opposite of last year, the top two seeds in the final (or what should be if Wimbledon counted for ranking points this year)

Sometimes we can wake up in Europe and they're still going on :D Was thrilling to see Alcaraz save match point and go on to win, he's one of my favourites to watch outside of the Brits Surely a brand new #1 is incoming now, if not a Tiafoe Vs Khachanov final would be WILD

Well that's half of my prediction out, and Alcaraz trails Sinner in their head-to-head of previous matches :') Maybe Ruud can be the new #1, that would be hilarious tbh.
  24. I've just watched the trailer, the vibes it's giving me are The White Lotus and Jennifer Lawrence's "Mother". I loved both of those so I'm quite looking forward to seeing this despite the trashing it's been receiving. It'll be interesting to see how successful it ends up being at the box office and whether 'all publicity is good publicity' will apply as it feels like this has been everywhere the past few days. I hope the Harry fans turn out at Cineworld in force as the cinemas need it :heehee:

Alcaraz and Ruud now both have the opportunity to claim the #1 ranking without having to win in the final. Think it'll be Nick vs. Carlos at the end
