  1. I don't fully love it but glad they didn't go with Unmute and feel like it's a likely top 10 for Poland so good for them.
  2. Subwoolfer and NorthKid were my favourite two, Norway found with exquisite taste Can't wait to spend Eurovision week eating nothing but banana salads
  3. July Jones would be my pick from those even if it's a bit too repetitive. BQL should've won back in 2017 with "Heart of Gold". That LUMA thing is dreadful in every way.
  4. I don't quite hate the new voting system, but I'd much rather have the reprises back (or maybe not in the case of Robin and John...) and all the 12's going to John kinda made it feel like he did the best of the night when in reality Liamoo won the heat. Maybe it'll be better if it's close and the last result changes one of the DTF/AC/5th spots. Alvaro was my fave of the night, followed by Browsing Collection and then Liamoo. Bluffin' is a fair finalist but I hope that's all it remains, it's very Sweden on autopilot. John was my least favourite, but knew he'd get through and just glad he wasn't the first DTF tbh.

  6. This does absolutely nothing for me, a complete bore.
  7. A safe qualifier, nothing extraordinary but better than "Storm" or either of Uku's efforts for me.
  8. Welcome back to the final Latvia, and your best result since 2005 *.*
  9. This will be Ukraine's best winner if they make it to Italy.

Thrilled that Bella Swan is now an Oscar nominee, was worried that her momentum had completely vanished, particular after she didn't get a Bafta nom. Always nice to see a career trajectory like Jessie Buckley, from "I'd Do Anything" to Oscar nominee (see also Cynthia Erivo who I first saw in the quickly cancelled X Factor musical). Happy with the multiple noms for King Richard and Licorice Pizza, loved both of them. Should check a few more out as I've only seen those two, Belfast, West Side Story and Spencer from the main categories (always prefer going to the cinema for movies and I think there's quite a bit of Netflix/Amazon etc here)
  12. Excellent 01 Spain: Chanel - SloMo 02 Albania: Ronela Hajati - Sekret 03 Czech Republic: We Are Domi - Lights Off Very good 04 Ireland: Brooke Scullion - That's Rich 05 Italy: Mahmood & Blanco - Brividi Won't be putting on repeat 06 North Macedonia: Andrea - Circles 07 Israel: Michael Ben David - I.M 08 Bulgaria: Intelligent Music Project - Intention My ears, my poor ears! 09 Moldova: Zdob și Zdub & Frații Advahov - Trenulețul Nervous for the next couple of weeks, Latvia and Norway both have options that would place them straight into my top 2 if they don't f*** it up.
  13. If the 3 to 9 year olds get in the way of a Cornelia victory when the app is presumably working again for the final..... It would be SUCH a great entry for Sweden, it's just not trying too hard and produced just to get a good result at Eurovision like a few of their entries have sounded like recently. Theoz was my other favourite of the night so glad he's progressed out of the twinks, sad for Omar but I don't expect to keep going back to his song tbh. Robin just needs to leave us alone, was so glad that he wasn't the winner of the night. I'd put it 3rd out of his four entries just ahead of the smug "I Can't Go On".
  14. Such a good performance, I will be fuming if they choose the boring Aminata over that
  15. Israel really decided to give up on their qualification streak huh
  16. Haha I loved how Brendan came last despite surely being the biggest 'name'. You had your chance love, you did shit. Maybe the Irish jury had just lost their minds but I also wonder if they were told to make it a close result
  17. Despite the studio jury somehow thinking she was the second worst of the night, the public saw sense and Brooke wins *.
  18. "Circles" has just been chosen, apparently there was a tie with "Superman" and the jury was the tiebreak. Would've preferred "Superman" for the fun but I don't mind this. It makes me think of Roxen only not awful.

I thought it was the right firing tbh, think the idea of the game itself could've been okay if the spelling error didn't make them a total laughing stock from the get go, it's not exactly a complicated word.
  20. As reported in the press recently, Laura Pausini, Alessandro Cattelan and Mika have been confirmed as the hosts. A medley of Grace Kelly, Big Girl and Love Today for the interval please xx
  21. The only thing I worry about here is them potentially messing up the staging in May. It's already perfect, no need to change a thing!
  22. Thank god the points weren't proportional. I was supporting Ay Mama at the time, but I'm very much on board with SloMo being the entry and feel like it's a safer choice. There's nothing for Europe to potentially not 'get' with this one, she's simply SERVED! A BOP!
  23. Jade - fellow tennis fan or just a general hot Italian guy stan? Liking 'Ciao Ciao' on first listen, instantly catchy and lodged in my head. The Mahmood song is obviously no Soldi but it would've been a tough ask to match that and even Soldi I didn't overly rate on first couple of listens, I'd be fine if he wins again.
  24. Zdob și Zdub are a plague upon Eurovision.
  25. Excellent 01 Spain: Chanel - SloMo 02 Albania: Ronela Hajati - Sekret 03 Czech Republic: We Are Domi - Lights Off My ears, my poor ears! 04 Bulgaria: Intelligent Music Project - Intention 05 Moldova: Zdob și Zdub & Frații Advahov - Trenulețul All of my top 3 are worthy of being my #1 at the moment, some great choices made in the NF's.
