^Apparently from what the commentary was saying, this is going to put her just outside the top 50! The only one left who's yet to drop a set, I don't want to allow myself to get too excited but it's great to see how she's managed to come from a break down in both of the last two matches, remain calm and then turn it around. Even if the story does end at the semi-final, there's surely a Grand Slam win in her future.

I think I've only seen nine of the Marvel movies (everything from Guardians of the Galaxy through to Spider-Man: Homecoming, plus Spider-Man: Far From Home), so I'm not a massive fan but I'd say this was my favourite aside from the Spider-Man movies, I really loved it! There was some really good choregraphed fighting, I loved the bus scene and the one on the side of the building, the action scenes towards the conclusion were a bit less exciting for me but I still came away really impressed, having not being sure in advance whether I'd like it or not. Simu Liu was really good (this has me giving Kim's Convenience another shot) and I seem to adore Awkwafina in anything I see her in.

Emma's past couple of matches have been incredible to watch. Very excited for her next one tomorrow, I think it's a shame that Ashleigh Barty went out really as playing the current world #1 would've been excellent experience for her and I think she could've put up a decent fight (but I was happily resigned to her losing)...but hey, perhaps an easier path to the quarter-final now..?!

I don't think there's any difference in how they're done (may be wrong, not done a PCR myself just know others who have), both swab your throat and nostrils, it's just how the sample is 'analysed' to get the result that's different? I've heard mixed things about the accuracy of LFT - have a friend who says he tested positive on them twice, followed up with a PCR both times and the PCR results came back negative. Have heard of other people who've carried out LFT as many as seven or eight times, all come back negative only to then go on and get a positive PCR result.

I've not seen any of the original but I watched the 2021 series last week. I'm glad it's taken a different angle rather than being a direct re-make. Was getting really into it from the third episode onwards, looking forward to the next batch of episodes in November!

Delighted with this :D The gorilla is my favourite but 'Fai rumore' is perhaps second, it's a close run thing between that and 'Soldi'. Not the result I would've expected at all, I would've thought it would be between Måneskin and Mahmood. Perhaps Italy may have won in 2020 too had it gone ahead.

I'm glad that Barbie Girl (and some of the other Silky lip syncs tbf) made the entire build-up and sitting through game within a game worth it in the end, because it's going to feel quite pointless again when we're just back with the same top 5 (as much as Eureka did win that last lip sync, I'll be pissed if they give it to Silky just for the story or based on the other lip syncs)

I liked Christian more than I like Sarah Beth, but I'm glad he went tbh. I just didn't want Derek X to shoot and miss. The cliff hanger at the end of the veto episode scared me, I didn't want him backing out because I feel like the damage was already done. Derek F and Britini both being in the top 3 vote getters this week, ahead of Tiffany, are the Americans watching the same show? :lol: They need it more though I guess so good for them, it was nice to see how happy it made Britini. Though this High Roller's twist is confusing me, four of them are getting to place a bet on the veto comp, not just Kyland? .......what was the point in the competition :unsure:

I mean, aside from 'Madness of Love' (which only came 2nd because it was rigged to keep them in the contest I tell you!!! - but genuine result or not, it's never been a fan favourite), the podium finishes have come top 4. People may love "Soldi", but Måneskin are the act that won the contest so it'll be no surprise if they get victory here too. I don't think it's recency bias but just that these ARE the best songs.

It's so nice to have a US season where I'm not hating those in power and the name of the major alliance doesn't make me squirm every time it's mentioned. Tiffany, Derek X and Hannah are my top 3 at the moment. I don't dislike any of them, but I have gone off Sarah Beth (girl don't you be coming for Hannah) and find Britini a bit annoying/too emotional.
