Albania falling where they have is no great surprise but WTF at both Malta and Sweden, expected them both to be locks for the lower end of the top 10. I'm with Iz, hopefully Bulgaria is the one with broad enough appeal to secure the win but who knows anymore. I think the next to drop out will be between Australia, Ireland and Serbia.

Glad that they ended up keeping Kiefer as him winning would be the most satisfying outcome for me right now. Love that Tera won HOH and the power has shifted, but the upcoming fake double seems like an awful twist. Whoever she gets out will likely beat her to get back in :') Keep the twist, this season has been really good and does not need it.

So much drama! After five of the originals stuck together and made it to the end in the first season, it's nice to see more of a divide going on this time. Chloe is of course a queen, I hope she goes far.

North Macedonia getting into a theoretical final position (based on it being 26th - but quite likely that there are still at least 10 semi 1 tracks to come, not keeping track) is the most surprising result so far for me - it's so incredibly average, one of the worst of 2020! Flush. Happy to see a few more "Take Me As I Am" stans and looking forward to James Newman's glow-up in the 2021 results (potentially - maybe him having a better song will be cancelled out by the general higher quality of the year)

Yeah I don't think the attitude of Hooverphonic will have any noticeable effect (the most I can see the commentators mentioning is 'these guys were due to represent Belgium last year, this time they have a different vocalist' but even then they probably wouldn't even say anything to suggest it wasn't a mutual parting of ways). If it doesn't qualify, I think it'll be due to messing up the staging (quite likely for Belgium), the song itself deserves a spot in the final imo. Agree that a lot of these mentioned so far could end up surpassing expectations. My personal picks would be Russia and Germany - I still see people thinking that Germany is a potential last place and I'm not buying it, the pictures from the back-up performance make the staging look fun and I think it'll rack up a rather decent televote score.

Seriously side-eyeing some of Bré's choices here - Empire, eh ok I can understand, but Voda and Release Me?! No real surprises so far but I'm sad that Benny is so low, I hope he rightly gets a top 15 placing MINIMUM in Buzzvision 2021.

Can't wait for Senhit to get that 39-1 climb *. Freaky was by no means bad, but very much a mid-rank sort of song so I understand why it struggled to pick up points. A rather deserved joint last - I hope Uku performs a bit better in Buzzvision 2021, just to recognise that he has come back with a much better song.

Oops...! I Did It Again vs Baby One More Time Toxic vs Everytime Both very tough because the right songs have ended up here imo, but Toxic and Everytime are just such different songs, on a different day it might've swung the other way for me, whereas I think BOMT would get my vote every single time.

Yes. We can't keep living life in fear forever, I mean you can if you like but personally I was so happy being able to dine outside a restaurant again yesterday evening and will hopefully be visiting a pub with a few friends at the weekend. "We Don't Wanna Put In" and "Flame is Burning" are my highlights, the former especially would be up there as one of Georgia's best entries and if anything, I think it should've been their entire 2016-2019 run that was disqualified for crimes against music. :kink:

Did anyone else check out the first episode last night? The format sounds so ridiculous, I feel like it shouldn't work but I absolutely loved it and will definitely be tuning in for the entire series now :lol: It's like The Masked Singer but with multiple reveals each episode, what more can you want really. Just checked out the Wikipedia page and looks like we've got some great musical guests coming up, Nadine, Fleur and Alexandra *.
