  1. FINAL I Will Never Let You Down vs Anywhere 3rd PLACE Ritual vs Bang Bang
  2. 1zvnsvxA3to The "Siren Song" inspiration is obvious but I really like this! Hope they've got some killer staging that's as fun as the video.
  3. This is now out on streaming platforms and I'd say it's more instantly catchy than "Grow" but overall not as good as that was a beautiful entry that grew on me hugely to be one of my favourites from 2020.
  4. The Netherlands 2021 Birth of a New Age Jeangu Macrooy
  5. Officially out tomorrow but you can hear most of it via the radio premiere @1367336483292667911 It's different, but right now I'm very much on board!
  6. Australia 2021 Technicolour Montaigne
  7. I really wanted to hate this after what they did to Luka, but all I'm hating is how much I'm rather enjoying it! A massive improvement on last year, it actually leaves me wanting more as the ending feels quite abrupt.
  8. This has leaked ahead of an official release tomorrow. On first listen I think it's slightly better than "Alcohol You" based on the absence of the dreadful 'alcohol you when I'm drunk' line but it's still pretty meh. What has happened to the Romania that would send yodelling and double-sided pianos :(
  9. Romania 2021 Amnesia Roxen
  10. I think I'll start with Chasing Cars - it's good, but the other songs eclipse it.
  11. Russia have announced a last minute selection for next Monday. Seems a bit unclear whether Little Big will be part of it or not, but it sounds like it won't just be them as least, and as a rare non-fan of "Uno", I'm personally rooting for someone else.
  12. Russia 2021 Russian Woman Manizha
  13. Sweet Melody vs Touch Break Up Song vs Move
  14. ARTPOP - Dope and Gypsy are both amazing and Applause is perfectly solid even if not one of her strongest singles. Born This Way is let down by Electric Chapel, The Fame by Disco Heaven and The Fame The Monster by Teeth which remains one of her worst ever songs.
  15. Bang Bang vs Anywhere I Will Never Let You Down vs Ritual <<< love both, so throwing some support to what I assume is the underdog
  16. The Mamas changing from the black to gold dresses, what a MOMENT *. But I'm not sure it will be as effective in two weeks to help score votes and I don't feel like the song is quite as strong as "Move" and whilst they may get sympathy votes from the public, that won't apply to the jury vote. They surprised last year though so I still can't totally rule them out. Excited that it could be a genuine four horse race, I feel like Little Tot would be the most competitive at Eurovision but I'm leaning towards thinking it's more between Tusse and Eric, I think the former will take the public vote and the latter could win the jury vote as "Every Minute" has a great package with that performance, can totally see why it got the pimp slot. I'd be happy with any of the main four contenders, but would prefer Tusse not to win as I got more of a 'returns next year and wins then' vibe from his performance. Efraim Leo actually had my favourite song of the heat though, hope he makes it through AC and we see him back in the next couple of years.
  17. The last section of the video is the best bit, but given the video clocks in at close to 4 minutes..will that section even be on the final Eurovision version? I thought she'd promised it wasn't going to be a ballad this time so I'm disappointed from that angle, but it's a better song than last year. And we did need a guaranteed NQ in semi 1 so thanks for delivering on that, Ana.
  18. This is solid but I’m in the minority (although the split feels a bit more balanced in this thread) that prefer “Story of my Life” as I just enjoy that sound more and it was in my top 10 of last year. But it’s not as much of a downgrade for me as Eden or Victoria, I think after more listens they will settle at a similar level in more affections.
  19. breathin vs. One Last Time Both are great, but I loved 'breathin' instantly whereas 'One Last Time' is one that I've grown to love. Love Me Harder vs. Problem
  20. Fab 01 Cyprus: Elena Tsagrinou - El Diablo 02 Czech Republic: Benny Cristo - Omaga 03 Croatia: Albina - Tick-Tock 04 Germany: Jendrik - I Don't Feel Hate 05 France: Barbara Pravi - Voilà Solid 06 Israel: Eden Alene - Set Me Free 07 Finland: Blind Channel - Dark Side 08 Norway: TIX - Fallen Angel I don't feel hate, just meh 09 Lithuania: The Roop - Discoteque 10 Albania: Anxhela Peristeri - Karma 11 Spain: Blas Canto - Voy a quedarme 12 Ukraine: Go_A - Shum I think March 15th - it tends to be the Monday after the Melfest final unless things have changed
  21. Really liking the sound of Eric, Efraim, Tess and The Mamas (their song sounds SO Greatest Showman) so hopefully they can be the top 4 but I'm worried Sannex might upset proceedings (probably at the expense of Tess), not sure we really need them when we've already got Arvingarna. Lovad and Clara are the clear filler spots.
  22. Gone for The Bad Touch. Guetta to win!
  23. 11th in the final, and it was the combined winner of semi 2. That's the comparison I had in mind too When Germany came last or near last with "Black Smoke", "Ghost" and "Perfect Life", those songs were pretty boring/mediocre and I'm sure Jendrik will bring a very charismatic performance. It's better to have a marmite entry than one that everyone is collectively 'meh' about (hi Spain) and it's a bit of fun during a gloomy time, I think it could squeeze out a top 15.
  24. Lonely Together vs Anywhere Let You Love Me vs Radioactive How We Do (Party) vs Big Doing It vs I Will Never Let You Down <<< ffs, I think these are the best two songs here and they're against each other :drama: Black Widow vs R.I.P (feat. Tinie Tempah) Your Song vs Ritual Body On Me vs Shine Ya Light Bang Bang vs Poison
  25. Ours vs. Back to December ...Ready For It? vs. White Horse I Knew You Were Trouble vs. You Belong With Me Fearless vs. The Story of Us Style vs. Teardrops on My Guitar Red vs. the 1 Fifteen vs. Bad Blood cardigan vs. Our Song New Romantics vs. We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together New Year's Day vs. Out of the Woods 22 vs. Begin Again Mean vs. Shake It Off Everything Has Changed vs. betty ME! vs. Should've Said No willow vs. exile (feat. bon iver) Look What You Made Me Do vs. Mine The Man vs. Lover Picture to Burn vs. You Need to Calm Down The Last Time vs. Wildest Dreams Sparks Fly vs. Blank Space End Game vs. Love Story no body, no crime (feat. haim) vs. Getaway Car Delicate vs. Tim McGraw coney island vs. Only the Young Highway Don't Care (ft. Boys Like Girls) vs. Sweeter Than Fiction Today Was A Fairytale vs. Christmas Tree Farm New Romantics vs. We Are Never Ever.... :drama: Most of these weren't too bad but THAT is going to cause many sleepless nights wondering whether I did the right thing
