Blas is dropping two songs on Wednesday, "Voy a quedarme" and "Memoria", and will leave it up to the public to decide which one becomes his 2021 entry. Here's hoping for something a lot better and more stand-out than "Universo".

Whilst disappointing to see all the women going out, I love the stat that it's the first time in 14/15(?) years that two Swedish language tracks have gone direkt from the same heat. Lillasyster really surprised me in full and I'm not mad at them progressing at all, love the second half of the song. Paul was also better in full and I really liked his performance. Out of the qualifiers, Danny's song is the one I don't think I'll be going back to much, but you can't deny how great the performance was and that really elevates it as an overall package. The saddest part of the show was the look on Jessica's face when it came down to her and Arvingarna and how she already knew she was out, poor love :(

I can't see past Arvingarna winning the heat based on all the clips. It's very "Angel Eyes" by ABBA and I can't unhear it now it's been pointed out to me. DTF: Arvingarna/Danny AC: Jessica/Kadiatou 5th: Paul Rey 6th: Nathalie 7th: Lillasyster Jessica and Danny could swap but I'm basing it on his name and previous success and Jessica's song being good but no "Party Voice". Calling Paul as the 'shock' 5th/exit as from the clip to me, it's not as good as "Talking In My Sleep" and that only came 4th in his heat last year followed by him robbing Malou in AC so Kadiatou gets lucky ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

It's now been confirmed that this song that Go_A released last month has been selected by a jury out of three songs to be their Eurovision entry. I loved "Solovey" and am definitely not enjoying this as much, it's a bit of a racket...I always saw "Solovey" as quite borderline on whether it would've qualified and I think this runs even more risk of being Ukraine's first non-qualifier.

The evidence looks promising, Fleur did say she’d be up for the gig and I think this would be a great compromise between not ditching James entirely whilst getting a performer with more stage presence/charisma. Kudos to the BBC if this is true (until the songs disappoint us, that is)

Delaying again until 2022 would have a knock-on effect with the Birmingham Commonwealth games scheduled for July/August 2022, plus 2022 already has the Beijing winter Olympics scheduled. I really hope that Paris and LA can both push back four years and let Tokyo have 2024 rather than Tokyo having to potentially wait a minimum of 12 years from when it was originally set :(
