Going for the Bodyrockers again I'm a bit surprised that JLS went before both Will and Shayne. I thought 'Beat Again' was pretty well respected for a X Factor/boyband single, and especially compared to most of the JLS singles that came after. Must just not have aged well for people I suppose.

Ah, I can see how the 'Green Day' and especially 'U2' text on the album covers can be made out if I squint a little but didn't think to do that at the time. The only thing I'm really kicking myself over is missing 'Don't You Want Me' in the intro section after the lyric section had drawn me to listen to the song a couple of times :drama: Nothing else in any section I think I was any close to getting. Thanks for hosting M4NGO! Would love to see more paraphrased lyrics but would be nervous about an entire round of them as I think it's probably the most difficult out of these three formats (unless a bit of help is given like you gave us with the decades and the fact they were #1 singles). Ah, but some of us completely ignore the charts these days so I've never heard this or most of what's in the current top 40 before :lol: (Though I did try listening to a few recent #1s as the clip sounded very 2019/2020 - clearly didn't help/maybe I skipped over this one, it made me cast doubt over whether #3 was really One Direction and the red herring :lol:)

I've had the same Acer laptop for over 7 years and it's still going although there are cracks/bits missing around the power button which make it a small nuisance to turn on from scratch (I don't fully shut it down anymore so when not in use it just stays 'on' with a blank screen) so it's a brand I trust enough personally

I will do some digging, I'm thinking that Griff and Regina in particular had some pretty big runs at their peaks :thinking: It's crazy to compare the current 'Hall of Shame' to 2017 (which I've just found a December chart from) where no one had more than 3 consecutive weeks at the top and there were two large blocks during the year (one of 10 weeks and one of 9 weeks) where the #1 changed every single week :lol:

I won my first episode yesterday and I was so happy :cry: Literally stole the tail from someone else as the round was declared over I like the temporary 'gauntlet mode' that's in the new season right now as the team rounds can be so frustrating, but the downside is that the survival rounds are pretty much my faves I've managed Slime Climb twice now, first time a couple of days ago, and definitely feel this. It was the balance beams that I found most tricky as I'd been jumping onto the first one but now I've figured out how to get past them, I think I'll be successful at it a lot more.
