I think the song itself is still that bit too divisive to go for the win, but the rehearsal is rightfully going down very well (this and Ukraine look by far the best from semi 1) and does seem to be winning some people round, so it would be amazing if it could be pushing for a top 10 finish.

VobTTbg-te0 As a big fan of tennis and all of the leading cast, coupled with it being from the same director as 'Call Me By Your Name', my excitement for this was HUGE and it did not disappoint. I hope that it's not forgotten by the time we get to awards season next year because Zendaya really deserves some recognition. The score and cinematography were both excellent as well, I can't say that they're things I pay a load of attention to when at the cinema but the score was really grabbing me here. I saw 'Anatomy of a Fall' last month and thought it was excellent, Sandra Hüller was SO good. Love a courtroom drama, it was like watching a feature length episode of something like 'The Good Wife'. I also loved when I realised that my following cinema trip was to see 'Mothers Instinct' - consecutive movies that were about the aftermath of someone falling to their death from a balcony/window :lol: Yeah, I think January and February is the best time at the cinema with it being awards season. It feels like there have been a lot of blockbusters coming out recently (Ghostbusters, Dune, Godzilla etc) that I have zero interest in seeing.

Azerbaijan makes no impact and Moldova is so dull that I think no amount of staging can save this song, I think they're both chanceless. Australia is the kind of thing that I think appeals to fans more than the general public, and even the fans don't seem to be that on board with this song, but they can do really good staging which I think could help them sneak in given they've got a good spot in the running order. Iceland seems to be one of the least favourites across the board, but Hera is a great performer which is why I don't think it's DOA. Then again, it is directly after Croatia... Bambie Thug has had a brilliant reaction from pre-party performances which I'm hoping is enough to see Ireland in, of course the song massively stands out as well. There's definitely not room for all of Portugal, Serbia and Slovenia so I'm basing this entirely off running order. Czechia maybe should be dead given they're between Switzerland and Austria, but I've heard that the vocals have improved and I think it's a decent song, so I don't think it's quite DOA. Estonia I think is too noisy and anyone looking for a fun entry isn't finding it with Estonia will probably be voting for the Netherlands instead. Albania sweetie, I think you took yourselves out with the revamp.

Scheduled for a Valentine's Day 2025 release in the US, Hugh Grant is BACK, Colin Firth is OUT and Leo Woodall ("The White Lotus" and "One Day") is joining the cast, rumoured to be the new love interest for a widowed Bridget. Switzerland, Belgium and Austria are stan countries across both years for me, the latter two were especially hard to pick between. Sweden too, realistically I think "Tattoo" is the better song, but Marcus & Martinus are my boys. Spain, Ukraine and Croatia are massive upgrades this year. Moldova, Norway and Azerbaijan are my biggest downgrades.
