Yep, the deluxe version (stupid rip-off idea that shouldn't be allowed for any album) of Rockferry is due for release and will ensure Duffy well out-sells Dido. Apart from anything else, Dido's first single from the new album is one of her most bland offerings to date :( .

One of these odd efforts of someone trying to be lyrically clever and making a complete a$$ of themselves. No doubt it'll make the top 10 though :(

And Pink yelling, "So what, I'm still a rockstar" isn't at all generic? :blink: Putting those two tracks into that context, I'd say that the Oasis' track is the least generic. Of all those listed, I'd prefer The Killers to be at the top of the chart. Unfortunately, it appears most likely it will be Pink.

What date was that chart, Mart!n? It looks worryingly even more stagnant than the current official chart - unless it's from about a month ago?

Liked it a lot from the very first time I heard it. I think it deserves a #1 or 2 placing - will probably actually peak at either 2 or 3.

Oops, made the same mistake as someone earlier - voted without reading the first post >.< I assumed it was a vote for which you think will have the number one album next week and voted KoL. Works out the same anyway :P Not a great fan of Sex On Fire, but Changes is just dull. However, I did hear the follow-up single to Sex On Fire on XFM and that is good, although Molly's Chambers remains my favourite KoL track.

Tough choice as I really like all three, but had to go with Rainbows in the end. :D

Completely agree - the lyrics are cringeworthy - it's one of those tracks where I switch over the radio if it's played :puke2: Unfortunately, and almost certainly only due to the success of No Air, I think it'll manage a place in the top 10; around #8 as a few people have already suggested.

I'd be happy with it twice a week on Tuesday and Friday, but I follow the line of thought that if you don't post it every day, people will go elsewhere. You posted earlier in this thread seemingly questioning whether people would be bothered or not to look elsewhere for the info; I'm pretty sure they would! Heard this on Radio 2 for the first time yesterday. Would've completely missed it if I hadn't recognized the artist name from people banging on about it here. Unfortunately, I was utterly underwhelmed by it, very uninspirational.

Not a fan of McFly, but this is a decent track and against the pap infesting the top end of the charts at the moment and the lack of any good, massive new releases imminent, I hope it tops the chart.

More likely referring to the quirky endings the Beatles had to many of their later tracks. This is hardly a new direction for the band, the b-side Chemical Brothers mixed track (title currently eluding me) is interesting though, if a bit similar in style to Setting Sun. I reckon this will reach #1 or 2, as that option isn't there I'll go with top 3.
