This is tough - Florence is my favourite left and the other 2 are on a par. Went for Avril in the end as Florence-Kaisers would be a fun final.

1 Cheetah 2 Sebastian Ingrosso 3 Clean Bandit I was surprised that I quite liked the Clean Bandit track and didn’t enjoy the Faithless track.

Poor “Ordinary” could hit ACR and plummet all the way to #2.

Some of these I like more than when I listened for the weekly polls. “Blade Bird” for example didn’t really click first time round. Going for: Dog’s Dinner Blade Bird Emergence But there are half a dozen more I really enjoy - good list.

I went for Pete Tong as the more enjoyable listening experience, but I do take the point that Rita did more with it.

At the time “Underneath Your Clothes” was my favourite by miles. I still do love it - I rarely enjoy soppy ballads but there’s something about Shakira’s touch that makes it special. But these days I’m falling slightly more for the manic charm of “Rockstar” with the hard hitting rap and some early Pharrell sung vocals. Sorry Viper - not feeling “My Friends Over You” at all. 9 N*E*R*D Rock Star I prefer the high octane Jason Nevins remix of this but the original is great too: a bracing and powerful rock hip hop track 8 Shakira Underneath Your Clothes I love this ballad: the endearing 2nd language lyrics, the way her voice breaks up in places and gentle instrumental touches 8 Dirty Vegas Ghosts They won't have any more Top 40s apart from a re-release of "Days Go By": this is another gorgeous atmospheric track 8 Linkin Park H!
