Well as an ABBA fan I’ve never been so pleased about ACR and the 3 track rule - Don’t Shut Me Down absolutely needed both to make the Top 10. Drake would have most of the Top 10 and nearly half the Top 40 thanks to what are obviously largely album streams.

I agree it’s the best version of Unchained Melody, but I don’t love the song in any form. There’s no chorus and it doesn’t really go anywhere. :P

Millennium Prayer… I respect Cliff and he’s done some great services to music, but that isn’t one of them!

Do the Bartman is OK for a novelty type song. I’ve been watching back early Simpsons on DisneyPlus and they are a great cultural institution.

Great weather yesterday and today could very well see a few 2 week decline songs avoid ACR, annoyingly (Clash has already been up week on week compared to last week everyday this week on Spotify, and Stay was up week on week yesterday)

Would love to see Stay avoid and get its deserved #1 spot next week.

How many ISHFIY and DSMD sales from this week's sales chart at no 9 and no 11? I'm curious about how much Abba sold in last few hours of chart week.

About 1,000 to 1,500 sales each.

I do actually like Saviour’s Day - if this had been done in December I might have been tempted to vote for it.

Baby Come Back dropping out is the other surprise for me; remember that with some fondness.

^ I can’t quite see how your numbers add up there - 1.2M difference is 12k sales max?

Of course Drake’s huge first Spotify day might have included a higher than usual proportion of free streams and a higher than usual number of >10th play streams which wouldn’t count.

Drake stabilising well with Girls Want Girls back up to 580k, 200k ahead of the main version of Bad Habits. Could still be close for #1 maybe with the Spotify lag.

The Abba songs are at #9 and #11 in this week’s Sales chart which only means 1-1.5k but isn’t bad for a few hours.

I feel like Ed could stay at #1 this week and then Drake could do a Toosie Slide the week after (default #1 when everything goes to ACR). But based on Drake’s early Apple performance maybe he could even do it this week.

ABBA was the first music my mum introduced me to when I was about 4 at the end of the 80s. They were always this mythical group that had never existed in my lifetime, and no other pop I ever listened to seemed quite as good. So the fact that I’m alive and ABBA exists is quite a surreal moment!

And also think the two new songs are lovely - however they do the project will be a winner for me anyway. :heart:
