Aww that last reveal was a bit of a body blow for me - I’d thought having 12 in the Top 23 I was pretty safe for 10 in the Top 20 but alas!
Blur - obviously a hugely important Britpop band. Favourites “Beetlebum”, “Tender” and “The Universal”.
Arctics are extraordinary - who’d have thought when those spotty teenagers arrived that they would go on to produce music of that quality and depth? Favourites “505”, “Do I Wanna Know” and “Fluorescent Adolescent”.
And Muse - a 21st century band with a 19th century heart, and the classical influences really shine through. Boo at them just missing the Top 20 twice. :( Favourites are “Starlight”, “Time Is Running Out” and the Queen-esque “Madness”.

A great group here - brilliant top half and I enjoy almost all of them to some extent, plus it’s the 3rd 10 score of the year!
10 Linkin Park In The End The 4th and highest peaking "Hybrid Theory" single: an exquisite heartbreaking rap metal number and the best of its kind
9 The Ones Flawless Only Top 40 for this electronic trio: the production is as the title suggests and the robotic vocals complement it beautifully
8 Super Furry Animals Drawing Rings Around The World The album title track and a gorgeous number with retro ELO style production: the rings referred to are about pollution
8 Pulp The Trees/Sunrise Their 1st hit for 3 years: "Sunrise" is very evocative with a big instrumental section and "The Trees" sweet and endearing
7 The Streets Has It Come To This? Debut single for Mike Skinner that took garage in a new direction: it's a strong statement and has a really nice sound world
6 India.Arie Brown Skin Her 2nd and final Top 40: this is a lovely and sensual song, and well regarded I know, but I somehow can't get too excited
6 Sunscreem Vs Push Please Save Me Last of 8 Top 40s for Sunscreem based on "Who Will Love Me Now?" by PJ Harvey, which works well as a dance track
5 Sugar Ray When It's Over 2nd and last Top 40 for this US rock band: nothing too special but a cute and catchy tune in a more poppy Blink-182 style
5 Usher U Got It Bad His 3rd US #1 and I think it's more geared to that market but a soulful RnB ballad that captures the mood of the lyrics well
4 Michael Jackson You Rock My World His 1st hit for 4 years: I really like the production to this, which saves what is otherwise a fairly limp and tuneless comeback
3 UB40 Featuring Lady Saw Since I Met You Lady/Sparkle Of My Eyes Their 1st Top 40 in a while with a double A cover of old reggae songs: nothing too interesting but a pleasant enough listen

What is the entire Top 100?
I can’t really post the full Top 100 as it’s only available to UKChartsPlus subscribers (which has various other charts including the weekly Top 200 albums and is very reasonably priced). But I’m happy to answer requests on specific songs. Also anyone with the patience to read the whole thread will know everything that’s in the Top 100, though not the order. :)

I did listen to both those last two. In both cases I like the performers more than the material overall. I love the combination of Ella’s clear voice and Louis’s gravelly tones and I knew a fair few of those songs, but it was more an album to have on in the background for a party than for active listening. Dusty I could listen to all day but the songs didn’t all manage to hold my attention.

From Music Week.
Shape of you – 6.29m chart units made up of 864,000 downloads and 627.27m streams
Thanks - a bit lower than I estimated for that. “Galway Girl” seems to have been hovering on the edge of 5x platinum for ages too. In general Ed’s back catalogue definitely isn’t streaming like it was.
