Cheryls and Jls fan bases are massive. Just because your examples mentioned didn't do that well, doesn't mean anything. People just went for the original mix of Check it Out since the Cheryl version wasn't that much different.

Haha! I think it was the second episode! Im not sure now, but it will be the most memorable scene for me. The show was so clever in the early days, like you said, the writing was spot on and was so current/fresh. Gaby has probably had the most character development. It was nice to watch her going from her selfish ways to a mother. However she is still old Gaby, which i think is great. Season 7 has been quite a dramatic one for Gaby concerning her family. I agree about Bree, she has turned out to be a whore, There is no other way to put it, she is. I did however love her psycho pharmacist boyfriend George. He was just splendid.

Jark I agree, I don't think the show will ever return to the glory days that were season 1 and 4. However i think it is still worth a watch and is still entertaining. Season 7 is a much bigger improvement over season 6. The only thing is the mystery over Paul young is really $h!t. His new wife however is fabulous. I do think that they have shown character progression with Bree. It would be really stale if she had stayed the all perfect housewife she was in earlier seasons. She does seem to have literally forgotten all the morals she once held so proud. I do miss the light hearted humour that was a feature of previous seasons. Will never forget "Rex cries when he ejaculates" Best awkward moment in television history.
