  1. So it's now out on the 21st? This single's all over the place
  2. Who the hell is still buying The Circus DVD? I swear just about everyone in the country now has a copy
  3. Sounds horrible :puke2: I'm sure Take That could write a brilliant new charity song for this year's Comic Relief. IMO no-one has yet beaten Spice Girls effort in '97.
  4. I doubt it'd happen but I'd love a double a-side. Nobody does them anymore. A track from the album (i.e. Kidz) and a brand new track would do wonders for sales for both the album and single and then they could release another new track when the tour starts followed by the special edition of the album.
  5. Read this in the paper today, it seems a bit strange though. Kidz is released on the 28th which is too early for Comic Relief (and it doesn't exactly fit Red Nose Day does it?) yet surely they can't be releasing another single so soon after?
  6. Here's hoping! I thought they were incredibly bland on X Factor and I almost had a breakdown when Simon called them 'the most exciting band in Britain' :puke2:
  7. I've never understood why his flop second album is still in print yet his debut that reached no.1 and contains two no.1 singles is no longer being pressed? I downloaded all the singles from Open Road but I think I'll definitely invest in a copy of the full album.
  8. I love Wondering, along with Fast Car it's one of my favourites from the 12 Months album. I still need to get hold of his first album though.
  9. I hate the video, I was really expecting something much funnier.
  10. One of the Boys. I love Teenage Dream but it has the ability to become irritating very quickly.

I personally never brought any Spice Girls music first time round as I was only about 4 and a half when Wannabe came out but I remember my brother had loads of the singles on tape and then he brought the Spice album on cassette about a year after it was released because my sister had it on CD and he wanted his own copy. Good times. My first albums were Now 40 and the Grease Soundtrack on cassette in '98  They looked pretty cool but the quality was terrible. Can't say I miss them too much.
  12. I suggest we start one ourselves on release week
  13. The best thing that could happen to that single is more protests. The potential controversy could be brilliant publicity.
  14. I actually like it better than Britney's new single
  15. I must say I too have always been a bit sceptical about Mr Barlow's true songwriting talents. Sure he wrote some brilliant stuff for TT back in the day but how many hits did he write between the break-up and the reunion? Even since then the majority of the stuff he's written for other artists has been complete dross.
  16. It's the original version too! Nostalgia-city!!!
  17. I was hoping for Busy or I Blame Hollywood. I think the ballads are all a bit too weak to be singles.

Oh god I'm OBSESSED with Corrie atm, the whole John Stape storyline has had me in stitches for weeks
  19. :birthday: Sorry I'm a bit late, the day's almost over now but I hope you had a great one

I got a record player about 6 years ago when I was 13, after we came across my parents old record collections in the loft. There used to be an amazing used vinyl shop near me and I used to save my pocket money up for weeks on end then go and spend it all on Michael Jackson & Madonna records. I still listen them to all but I haven't brought any records for ages now and I'd really like to get a better quality turntable.
  21. Nice video, boring song! They should've gone with something like Speak Now, Better Than Revenge or Enchanted.
  22. I recorded this and I still haven't checked it out yet. I completely forgot about it lol.
  23. Great choice, best song on the album IMO!
  24. 1. Michael Jackson-Dangerous 2. Michael Jackson-Bad 3. Madonna-Like A Prayer 4. Avril Lavigne-Let Go 5. Take That-Beautiful World 6. Elvis-30 #1 Hits 7. Justin Timberlake-Justified 8. Britney Spears-Greatest Hits: My Perogative 9. Spice Girls-Spiceworld 10. Taylor Swift-Fearless
  25. I was really sad when I heard this news, I saw him in a production of King Lear at the New Vic not even two years ago and he was amazing in the title role. RIP Pete :(
